Cool video, thanks for the tips. The 5th tip 'save as' might work better as a project template. Maybe I missed something but save as, places the new (blank) project in the original project's folder. If you use per project audio folders the audio for the 'save as' project will end up in the original audio folder.
Thank you, yeah i was trying to show that you can save the settings within a project without using the template again. I did forget to mention that you need to save it in a new folder so the data doesn't stay in the same folder. Thank you for pointing that out though, i'll see if i can fix that!
KN Music Hey, so if you are using a single microphone to record a vocal, it is in mono. Converting a mono track to stereo isn't going to make the vocal sound any better or make it any easier to process. Is there a reason why you convert a mono vocal track to stereo? Let me know, thanks
TrueSoundStudios HI, this is what I wanted to know, I watched some other clips and noticed they have vocals in stereo tracks and thought maybe in the mix it sounds better?
No it doesn't effect the sound but could effect how the plugins treat the audio depending on how it processes audio. I'll do a video on this soon! Thanks for watching!
I wonder what is the relevance of having a track template where a deesser is after a compressor. This makes no sense. Compressor works on the dynamics and hssss carry a lot of nrj, so it better to remove them before you work on the true overall dynamics you are trying to achieve.
Nice
Can you do one vocal plz
I am getting a hard time to send fx to my vocal track..
I dont know to the buses work
