Wow! I love air cooled Beetles and buses. Drove a red one for almost 8 years and wish I had it back. Story of my life. Awesome show.
i had a few of them, an i want another not cheep anymore but still possibly cheeper then a hot rod im poor so i needz CHEEP lol free even better lol

Plaid bus was a 79 has a full TH-cam video about it. Love that you got me chillin at picnic table haha... White custom Ghia with Mazda engine won best of show which I thought was strange :-/ good coverage. Next time I'll open deck lid for better cam time.
yeah although i thought the ghia was hot, it was not VW with that Rotary, xustom class award i could see but not best of show there were a few i thought were awesome candidates for that
it's all popularity. I'm in no clubs and usually get caca recognition

You might know, or anyone reading this. What is the name of the long rear view mirrors inside they were a bunch of mirrors angled so you could see everything on the side and back at a glance.

an they sucked i had a couple they vibrate to much if u got a rumbly v8 hell even a chatter box vw cant even see behind u when your moving lol
Had one in my 71 bug and I loved it, don't remember it vibrating....except at idle. ( motor set up all wrong, big cam and a weber 40 dcnf on a 1641....car shook side ways at idle, sounded like it was running on two cylinders)

its old school air conditioning, fill spot with water and as you drive it scoop an compresses the air thru to cool you down ;)
