Shame on Indian Embassy they do not answer their phones. I remember I believe Cycle Baba had the same complaint in another African country whereby he said Indian Embassy did not answer the phone when he needed help. Indian government should pay attention to this issue.

@amujuri saibabu There was a glitch in the situation bcz of the hand writing of one of the immigrant dept officer on Garima's passport/visa. So Congo staff was neither understanding the issue nor finding or accepting any solution. She was literally stuck there. And that illegal border crossing thing seems to be very normal there. But since Garima was having a bad day, she got cought there.
Awwwh brave lady Garima stay safe and make sure visa documentation is correct . Stay safe and continue your travel adventures around Africa.

It is indeed very surprising that they did not acknowledge their own Consular Staff in other countries. Could have been an ego problem for these guys here in Congo. Anyway, glad that you came out of this safely through a little lighter in the pocket. You are indeed an inspiration to many young people.
