    This man over there using max 4 plugins on every track and I'm here stuffing my channels with dozens of plugins lol. love his mixes

      FYI, these were STEMS from the actual session, used only for this demonstration. He mentioned on another interview, that the session has many plugins and probably would have froze his mbp.

      @@SOUNDINTHECITY agreed. A Good Mic Chain before hitting the daw will help eliminate a lot of digital processing as well.

      He was just talking about making sure the beat is cued up to the first transient and there is a gap of silence at the start. Making sure the session is in the correct BPM.
      In ProTools use Tab-to-Transient to get to the spot you want. And then Delete the parts you dont need.

    What auto tune is on the bus? I’m looking for a new one and I love his sound

    • @SOUNDINTHECITY
      @SOUNDINTHECITY  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      He’s using Antares AutoTune. If you visit their website you can see their different versions. There is a new one that has recently come out AutoTune EFX

    What plugin did he use for the harmonies?

      @SOUNDINTHECITY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Harmony Engine Evo while triggering it with midi notes.

    So why autotune access instead of pro , I’m really confused on why pro isn’t a go to ?? Lol

    • @SOUNDINTHECITY
      @SOUNDINTHECITY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think at this time Autotune Access had just come out and was the new product at the NAMM show. Now they offer the subscription bundle. I own Autotune Pro, but do like some of the features and presets that the subscription offers.

    So Chris never sings without auto tune now? Abit shit

    • @SOUNDINTHECITY
      @SOUNDINTHECITY  4 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Chris is using Autotune for the effect sound, not necessarily for the note correction.

    • @romellobrown3141
      @romellobrown3141 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      He’s so good at singing , it’s barely correcting so he just prints it on there. You can’t hear it

    • @LoadedFlair
      @LoadedFlair 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Literally every artist uses autotune. You have to physically be able to hit notes so it can correct your voice. Plus it just sounds better with
