This film was going nowhere for so long until James Caan blew his cover, now it is hilarious.
This guy's girlfriend is the luckiest person ever I hope that he knows how much she loves him. I'm imagining this kind of situation sometimes. Also the funniest movie I have ever seen. What a bunch of auwsom actors. Great story as well 💋

The brilliance is all inspiring. It does make life worth wile. Mostly the Love for someone or even other people is simply what life is all about

I love watching actors of older generations get parts in movies. Youth has nothing on them and they always rock their rolls like the long standing pros they are. James Caan is an awesome actor. No matter what part he plays he does it with style.

Great movie ❣ Lessons learned about old people and their life's experience, although those old bones don't work so well anymore. It's in the mind, in the heart and in ones spirit ... there were true wisdom is found.
(Also funny - at the beginning of the 18th minute, 'Code?'
Answer: 'The Moon-landing was fake!' 😅 ... Loved it! because it's true. 😉)

Nice, laid back movie, not overly dramatic, but that was not a 1979s Volkswagen T2, it was a T3, wish they had gotten that right, kinda ruined it for me (love the T3 model) xD nevertheless, entertaining movie.

Can someone explain something I noticed once it was mentioned in the movie.....???
So the boy is on the way to pick up the girl when her car broke down and while on the way to get her, a few vehicles pass him, an ambulance being one of those vehicles.
So how does those 3 vehicles pass him when he's heading in the direction of where the girl was waiting for him???
There are a few things I have to say about the movie but that's the biggest issue that I'm not able to understand.
I know the boy didn't pass her location and have to turn around and I'm 100% positive the 3 vehicles didn't drive the the long way around speeding in order to pass the boy up..
So again, how was the boy passed when he was on the way to the location where the girl and those vehicles were at????
I wonder who(m) else noticed that major flaw besides all the old timers doing a rescue mission.
Cinematic effect, how else could they've shown the grandpa looking at the tires, doesn't make any sense logically, because the ambulance and SUV would've been on the other side of the road, opposite direction, but yeah, for effect^^
Well, having to compress time in a movie. So when grand-pa looked at the ambulance the girl had already experienced the shooting and was already held captive. Grandpa looked at the ambulance license-plate as it was passing them on the right and this means the ambulance passed them heading in the opposite direction from where the girl had broken-down with the car, heading away from the location of crime already, having entered from a street to the right into traffic. Grand-pa notices the ambulance right then, while the boy still has to find his way to turn around to go back into the direction they already came from.
It read 7:48pm on the screen when they passed the houses in that living-area, then the camera zoomed-in on them driving in the car as he apologized to his grand-pa and she called right there within that conversation. The background then looked as if so they already left the living-area and diving on a busy street with industrial park-ways on the back-drop, too.
Let's say another five to ten minutes passed, since leaving the living-area that was marked with 7:48 pm until having that conversation while she called (already a main street with lots of traffic) while also seeing the ambulances (consider traffic and traffic lights), because including 'dropping grand-pa off' would have taken him half an hour to reach her where she was, but he then decided not to.
Although it still took about twenty-five minutes to half an hour until they got to the location (from the time they passed the living area right before she called) as he kept driving, and then decided to turn around when grand-pa noticed the ambulances, so 7:48 pm shown on the screen until 8:17 pm (shown on the screen) when reaching location, but maybe from turning around the car to the location only took them about ten to fifteen minutes, or so?
Right after grandpa looked at the ambulance license-plate the boy probably turned around at the next possibility, diving back, then entering the same street the ambulance came from, a scene that wasn't shown in the movie.
When they got to the location where she broke-down it read 8:17pm and when she was no longer to be found.
Does this make sense to you?
