Taeyang’s White Night tour had some concerts in smaller venues. He mentioned exactly what you said, that he wanted to be closer to the fans and liked the feel of a smaller concert. You can watch his documentary on his TH-cam about the tour/album

I'm so glad that you got to watch them during their early years, those concerts. There are still more to watch not just concerts but their promo activities on tv specially everytime they release a new song, their guestings on variety shows. I suggest you also watch Daesung's early program Family Outing with Bigbang members as their guest...

Now you know that the boy's practice so hard with their dance routine.. but you rarely see them synchronized if they are at the stage😂 they forget about dancing but they practice dancing so well. Seungri said before they paid some famous choreographer but it's the same nothings new for them. The reason why I stick to these unsynchronized boy's but I love them more than I love my boyfriend 🤭

GD had several concerts in smaller venues as well for his MOTTE tour. His Toronto, Canada concert was one of those. His encore singing Untitled he walks around in the audience and they sing with him. There's a great fancam video of it. Goosebumps!!!
