Another machine that my Uncle has kept for a while. It's mine now, and I will address the corrosion on the wand's prongs, hence the power nozzle's malfunction.
Nice Fantom Lightning. The motor will definitely need its fans cleaned as it is causing the loud noise and some other work done on the vacuum. Otherwise, nice Fantom vacuum. My Fantom Cyclone XT needs its motor fans cleaned out too but not loud as this one. The brushroll motor will also need work as I can hear whine in the motor bearings.
I have an Electrolux central vac from the 90s/2000s. But yes, my Uncle does have a central vac but hopefully I will film the next time I go to his house. I believe it is a Galaxie GA-100.
@@PanHoover882 that's really cool! I like Fantoms from a collecting standpoint, but the CV would more than likely be a better choice. Does he still use it? Or did he replace it with the Fantom?
@@amtrakpepsiproduct1605 Funny that you ask because he now has a Shark Rocket that he uses. Apparently when the cleaners came at one point, they would use the CV
I got it. The main difference is where the hose connects to the body. The DC05 has is it towards the bottom, while the DC02 has it on the top. You are correct!

I’ll try to get it cleaned up as soon as I get it back to my house

@PanHoover882 Also was that a Vacuflo inlet?
@@amtrakpepsiproduct1605 I wouldn’t know. Central vacuums are not my forte
It's a DC02!
