As a person that has worked really hard I don’t feel the need to win over an SA or waste my time nurturing a relationship. If I want something I am simply going to purchase it and I am not going to wait and spend and spend on items I don’t want to maybe get offered what I want. I have never done that and realized early on how ridiculous the situation is at Hermes. I have a collection of handbags and fine jewelry from the brand and all come from the second hand market and have been authenticated. The only time I actually purchase anything from Hermes is when I buy shoes. I don’t need an Hermes SA to make me feel worthy or unworthy of an item especially not when I can afford to get these items.
What people doesn’t seem to understand with Hermès is that you can totally shop organically there and get offers. I’ve got s mini Kelly offered and I absolutely never asked for it. I buy what I love there and I way prefer to work only with one SA ( like all the other luxury boutiques actually).The service is way better and individualized this way than constantly changing and having miss or hit kind of service. Anyway, all of it to say that sometimes, looking at social medias, people seem to beg but it’s absolutely not my experience in Hermès.
@@Bestlifemiddleageit’s always people who are rejected by their Hermes SA because of their own nasty, demanding attitude would say stuff like OP to help themselves cope. Now they assume anyone who gets offered a quota bag just sold their dignity & beg for it when it’s not the case at all 😂

I totally agree with you about smaller bags and colors. I am more likely to choose a more bold pattern or color. I'm also a fan of Hermes and Tiffany jewelry. Thanks for sharing ☺️

Amie , don’t feel bad about the Chanel mini Kelly . I was offered it twice ( the coral pink and light / pale pink ) and I declined both. I wasn’t obsessed with the aged calf leather plus it is coming again in January as per latest rumors
I’ll still ask my SA for stuff I want, but I’m not going to wait 6 months to get it when the exact combo I want is only a couple grand more. I’ll just get it off the second hand market.
Hi Amy I got the Chanel 22 Small in red I used it for a month and nothing happened I kept checking everyday but guess those certain batch got issued.i love the bag so much im getting it in black.
Went well for me the one time i got them for travelling. High maintenance to get refills often but worth it for having eyes ready everyday on the trip.
Amy, I was finally offered my Kelly 25 Selliere and in the Gris Pale color you mentioned. It's a beautiful color. I keep getting offered light color bags from Hermes. I have a nata picotin and a craie constance to go. I guess I'm the opposite of you with your black Hermes bags. Each of those colors is actually different from each other. Especially the nata. I usually don't use twillies but I'm so afraid of getting the handle dirty because of the light color. I ended up buying a Dior Mitzah, in the beige cannage print, instead of an Hermes twilly. Because I wanted something neutral. And Hermes does not make neutral silks.
This I personally think about Chanel, not because the brand is less popular now, the resell value of Chanel downhill because current economy is bad, people try not to spend much on luxury goods now. Popularity is still high, but at one point we all getting tired of their greediness by raising retail price.

Indeed I have the 13 pro and my airpods pro are housed in a protective case so the constance to go will be a tough mini bag for me to use. The mk2 has a better capacity for my needs but once Apple increases the size of the iphone pro (which is very likely for next year's 16) it will not fit in the mk2 either. haha. Looks like a chanel woc has a little more give. Very useful info babe! thanks again!
@@ClaraZeela yeah! i think double bagging for c2g is a good use of a woc - that’s how Eileen uses hers too. i think the problem w me is that i want the c2g to do exactly what the mk2 does, which is unfair to the c2g. for my needs, mini bolide is closer to the mark. but it is such a plain bag 😅 even by my standards. i don’t know how to pay $10k for mini bolide lol
If you’re buying four times before you can purchase that Kelly you’re buying way way way over the resell market. The resale market is double maybe slightly over double knot four times more.
I don’t care for the B or K bags. They are not easily functional and therefore not secure for my essentials. I would purchase another bag that would give me joy and allow me to also give to my church as well.

There are sooo many for sale too. Over saturation of Chanel within the 2nd hand market combined with far fewer purchasers will lead to poor sales.

I sometimes use the wired headset in the smaller bags as it’s more compact
