I can still remember the days that went by with this game. The early mornings playing this in my dads car as he drove me off to day care where I would face off against other kids. We raced for hours we would fight over who would be which shy guy and who would host the race. We would share tales of how to get waluigi rob and dry bones. I wish I could relive these days.
Best DS game I have ever owned. Seeing this makes me want to buy a Wii U and Mario Kart 8. This Mario Kart however, was alongside the original SNES one the most revolutionary in the franchise I believe.
Well, SNES because it introduced the franchise. That's one huge milestone in itself, wouldn't you agree? The DS version introduced online gameplay for the first time.
And Mario Kart DS also introduced using the retro stages that came before Mario Kart DS including Banshee Boardwalk from Mario Kart 64, Mushroom Bridge from Mario Kart Double Dash, Bowser Castle 2 from Mario Kart Super Circuit, and EVEN Mario Circuit 1 from Super Mario Kart.

Nintendo knew they had a superstar with this course, so they made it as amazing as they possibly could - with the special sound effects, music and just insanely cool atmosphere in general.
I think the chances are high since it is already in MK Tour and they seem to use many of the tracks that are in Tour (or will be in Tour in the future)
I'm so glad this finally made it to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! I kind of wish the music was less remixed and more of the original instead of using DS Wario Stadium's remix but either way I'm happy now that I can play it on the big screen!
I would always play Flower cup because of this track. Whoever designed it and whoever composed the music actually made the best mario kart track of all time
The synth swoops when you fly into the machine (0:20) or hit a booster (0:38) give me such a Steve Miller Band, "Fly Like An Eagle" vibe, if I didn't know better I'd swear they were sampled from that song.

I remember replaying the same level when I had my Nintendo DS. I'd always like the rainbows and the pinballs back then! I still have my DS and the game for 8 years now. Those were great, wonderful times...
Waluigi Pinball is my favorite Mario Kart Nintendo DS race course! Playing it makes me feel like it's the Fourth of July! I'm quite disappointed Mario Kart Wii doesn't have Waluigi Pinball.
