To be fair, today my crabsnake along with Sandshark were a few days at the alien containment and I said "maaaaan I have them here so long so I'm gonna release them so they can be free even if they may attack me but nevermind" my character put them in pocket and when I got outside my base and went little far away they didn't attack me that Sandshark ran away but crabsnake was next to me swimming with me to the base and he is circling around my base and never attacks me and he's just eating other fishes little cute I think

In my game, egg hatching is glitched. When the egg hatches, it spawns the creature but the egg doesn't despawn or break. I can still pick the "hatched" egg and drop it in the tank again to spawn another creature. Doesn't work on cuddle fish tho. Its egg despawns after hatching.

They are none hostile even if you pick them up and release them into the main ocean. I released a few Bonesharks around my base which are not hostile to me but are to other creatures, they do however seem to cause damage to your base if you are off screen for a while, I've comeback from my travels to find the base damaged and flooded and it can only really be them doing it.
I have a base in the lava biome at 1300m where you go down the big hole from the lost river near the disease facility. It's totally possible and the lava gives you all the power you'll ever need

Uugh I remember when I had 2 crab snake.eggs. I had a base towards the front of the Aurora where I'd gather materials from the mushroom forest. I released the Crabsnakes. They destroyed my Seamoth whilst I was gathering, took me forever to realise what had happened until I saw them destroy the 2nd one. Took a while to catch and kill them with the knife.

The lava lizard eggs can be found in the inactive lava zone (the lava castle) in caves. Hope this helped!

You can't fertilize eggs. A male fish has to fertilize it before you can actually hatch it

My crabsquid attacked my Cyclops while I was working inside. No damage, but I killed him out of spite for freaking me out.
