I'm at a loss for words! This needs to be recognized by some people at CAT as a 'marvel' of engineering. The hydraulic system is a complicated thing to replicate at this scale. On a full size machine it takes so many computerized systems to keep the pressure and delivery of fluid consistent, Im not sure how you made this possible. Also I noticed how well balanced the machine is, as a real excavator would be under load. WOW! If I ever have a chance to put you in the spotlight I will.. Wonderful work! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

@@rcactionhomemade Hi there! is it an open center parallel hydraulic system? a huge upgrade in this typ of system is a pressure compensated pistonpump. Smooter movements, higher efficiency, more digging control. I make most of the hydraulic parts by my self, probably of the same reasen as you! Great job!

Creating a machine like this from scratch is no small feat, and the creator should be commended for their hard work and ingenuity. This mini excavator is a testament to the power of human creativity and innovation
I was a machinist for 20 years, an electronic tech for 25, and a heavy equipment operator for 5 years in between... I have never been as impressed with a DIY project in my life. Keep at it, there will be much reward for you, as the world needs your attention to detail and discipline. Well done.
After watching several times, why did you have a slot cut in your hydraulic fluid reservoir? I couldn't see anything mounted there in the working system. You actually need a counterweight. Also, I can't believe those quick fittings don't blow out more frequently. And that tanker truck blowing by your door @ highway speed was wild, really have to be careful going out of the door!

Можно увеличить массу для большей устойчивости и также, раз на борту имеется гидростанция, то можно привод гусениц и привод поворота заменить на гидромоторы.

An incredible result! Especially when you realize that the entire project was accomplished with an angle grinder, a hand drill, a drill press, and a few hand tools (okay, a few parts were prefabricated on a lathe)! Masterful craftsmanship! But the most beautiful scene was at 5:45, where the foreman is working on the back wall of the cab while wearing a cute kitchen apron... 😎

your talents are amazing beyond words. I consider myself a seasoned craftsman and capable of doing anything. Quite probable I could do something like this, but on the serious side, I have never done something like this.

Pretty cool project. Aside from some small balance, coatings, and physics issues, this is a really good job done with some fairly substantial manufacturing hurdles that were overcome nicely. Fantastic final product!
