Aww thank you! It really is a horrible situation and makes me so sad. Luckily they are far enough south that it hasn't affected them apart from smelling smoke sometimes. I'm grateful they have been ok, but it's so hard to see how many people's homes have been destroyed :(

I love your finished dragon piece. All the little motifs are so cute. Gaia is gorgeous and Saga is amazing. We stitch totally different patterns however, I love and can appreciate your beautiful pieces. I missed seeing Winston. He’s such a cute little dude. He reminds me of my dog that I lost last fall. I had hoped 2024 and all its problems would magically disappear however, 2025 has not been so great. I live in SoCal and the fires and wind have been horrendous. I live an hour south of where the fires are but I have friends and family that live in the general area. Hopefully things will get better. I have no idea how you run in such cold weather. When it’s cold here ( nothing compared to where you live) I hate going out to do my walking. Good for you. Have a fun time on your trip. I assume you will be in Northern CA. It’s not nearly as cold there as New York. Enjoy!

My daughter was planning to start training this month for a marathon in March, but she's still dealing with pain any time she runs from a stress fracture in her femur this past summer so no running for her right now. Congrats on your finish! I really love Flossy Fox Shop's whole aesthetic but stitching their patterns... ooo boy, those color changes. I'm doing their current SAL as a my desk stitch at work and probably wasn't the best choice though I'm loving how it looks.
oh I 100% agree. The way she uses color is incredible, but so many color changes is rough when actually stitching it up! But the final piece is really worth it, just don't know how many of them I will do ha.
Hi Hun. Loving the dragon finish. Beautiful. Love those colours. All yr wips are gorgeous. I have the same problem with living huge pieces😂🤣 I will probably have to leave them unfinished for my children in the end. They will have to take up stitching. 😁 The snow has gone here in the UK but still very cold. I've yet to go back outside but still on the treadmill. Hi Andrew You may want to check the weather for New York because in my area we are getting hit with Snow - Winds - and very cold out. You can tell Markup R-XP not to count the border stitches. Just long press on the "Markup" button which will put you in "Erase" mode, which will show you everything Markup is counting as a stitch, and then you can unhighlight all the border stitches and it won't count them.

Highly recommend stitching her and yes definitely feel free to use the same fabric if you would like! I'm happy with my choice so far! This was one from Fiberlicious Yummy Fibers and typically when they dye it they do 50/50, but I asked if they could do more like 70/30 to have more blue/gray at the top. When you order you can ask them to customize it how you would like and they are very helpful! Hope that helps. happy stitching!
@@therunnerstitcher Thanks 😃 My problem is that I don't think I can find their fabrics in Europe, (I live in Germany), and ordering from the US it's really pricey! What I was thinking to do is to order from someone who dyes fabric here, to try and get that result for me if that is allowed 🤔 Otherwise I'd have to use a fabric closer to the suggested one I guess, which isn't bad, it's just that I think that the idea you had to stitch her the way you do makes her look even better 😀

Congrats on your finish! I really love Flossy Fox Shop's whole aesthetic but stitching their patterns... ooo boy, those color changes. I'm doing their current SAL as a my desk stitch at work and probably wasn't the best choice though I'm loving how it looks.
oh I 100% agree. The way she uses color is incredible, but so many color changes is rough when actually stitching it up! But the final piece is really worth it, just don't know how many of them I will do ha.

Hi Hun. Loving the dragon finish. Beautiful. Love those colours. All yr wips are gorgeous. I have the same problem with living huge pieces😂🤣 I will probably have to leave them unfinished for my children in the end. They will have to take up stitching. 😁 The snow has gone here in the UK but still very cold. I've yet to go back outside but still on the treadmill. Looking forward to hearing about yr half marathon at the end of January. Take care. Xx

You may want to check the weather for New York because in my area we are getting hit with Snow - Winds - and very cold out. I live in Indiana and I know that New York gets it worse than what Indiana does.

On mark up rxp go into erase mode and unselect all those border stitches then they won't count against you and you'll know how much left to go! 🥰

You can tell Markup R-XP not to count the border stitches. Just long press on the "Markup" button which will put you in "Erase" mode, which will show you everything Markup is counting as a stitch, and then you can unhighlight all the border stitches and it won't count them.

Highly recommend stitching her and yes definitely feel free to use the same fabric if you would like! I'm happy with my choice so far! This was one from Fiberlicious Yummy Fibers and typically when they dye it they do 50/50, but I asked if they could do more like 70/30 to have more blue/gray at the top. When you order you can ask them to customize it how you would like and they are very helpful! Hope that helps. happy stitching!
@@therunnerstitcher Thanks 😃 My problem is that I don't think I can find their fabrics in Europe, (I live in Germany), and ordering from the US it's really pricey! What I was thinking to do is to order from someone who dyes fabric here, to try and get that result for me if that is allowed 🤔 Otherwise I'd have to use a fabric closer to the suggested one I guess, which isn't bad, it's just that I think that the idea you had to stitch her the way you do makes her look even better 😀
