In this video I explored Helltown at night and had a scary terrifying Encounter and hear very strange noises. Also whatever it was seemed like it was following me the whole time I was in the forest.

Hello my guy I’m a huge fan brother. I was wondering why you didn’t go to phantasma con? It was Dope and wld have been better if you had gone I wld have loved to gotten your autograph.
Anyway I love what you do stay real, stay Dope and keep doing what you do ✌️🙏🫶🏼
When you went in that barn type building and all of that noise happened that sounded like a flock of geese but those two glowing eyes was very weird and it sounded like a scream afterwards. Now foxes can make very eerie cries which can sound like a baby crying...You do such a wonderful job on your videos. I am so glad I found you again, my you tube got screwed up so I lost a lot of my favs. Cannot wait to see more. You are gutsy that is for sure. Thank you and please stay safe.
Bro those sounds that we started hearing around 17:00 make me they're the ethereal/spiritual echoes of the War Cries of the Native American's attacking an encampment!!! The whoops and shouts that they would make to terrorize their enemies as they slaughtered them.... After what was done to them, many many MANY TIMES OVER their emotional states have imprinted onto the environment, IMO. And it would have been in a more natural woods environment that would have happened in, like the one you were experiencing that night by yourself. It's absolutely CHILLING!!!!!
That was exactly my first thought..Native Americans!!
Going alone through Helltown
must've been very eerie. Very brave!
@@DebyNieto-kq2ci that was NOT Geese lol
Survival tip: when the sounds of nature go silent, that's a cue which means a predator is nearby
Very true, suddenly quiet woods are dangerous woods. Keep a move on and be cautious!
Very true
in most cases the Human is the predator
intelligence tip: this isnt a nature sound youtube playlist that gets paused and cracked up ebonics tip doesnt mean bullcrap in the real world boi
@@bobbybitcoin-y9b repeat that in simpler terms
I love how he puts a story in the beginning of the video and explains how this building became abandoned
17:05 and 29:53 That, my friend, is a large pack of coyotes "talking" to one another as they hunt. You just showed up in their territory, so they are probably "talking" about YOU. Also, they move really fast in packs, ranging far and wide while hunting. They were long gone by the time you went looking for them. But you're not in any danger: coyotes are pretty shy and they tend to steer clear of humans unless they are interested in your garbage can or are raiding your chicken coop.
Those vocalizations can be pretty eerie-sounding, but they are also really cool. I grew up on a farm and our dogs would go silent when the coyotes were out. Our barn cats would stay put, as well. None of the animals wanted to be a target; they knew the danger!
Also, coyotes usually keep to themselves and don't bother humans, so it was always cool to just sit on the back deck at night in the summertime and listen to them "conversing" with one another!
29:35 Might be an owl. Some owls make pretty fantastic/awesome calls!
Stay safe, Chris! :)
needs to be pinned
Awesome explenations !!!!
Or you're the Army National Guard. Don't know how them f***ers managed it but a bunch of Guardsmen (Army didn't specify a number) where attacked by a pack of Yotes at Fort Johnson in western Louisiana while training outdoors.
His reaction had me dying 😂😂😂 Obviously not a country boy
I was wondering if it could even be geese
This video is a perfect example of how nature can be super creepy just on it's own. The woods at night can be weird no matter where you are.
Besides nature being "creepy" at night, this is a affluent suburb that has about a million cops because they built a extremely popular trail head in the middle of the national park (CVNP) in town. Literally one of the safest places in the country.
1st person, going around on a bike at night is a really dope way to explore for viewers.... i'm disabled and hearing the sound of the bike is kind of nostalgic to me. hope i can get on a bike again some day.
You could get an electric trike and go exploring!
In Jesus name! I'll be praying for you.
Maybe you could get an electric scooter! Those are fun!
Me too.
Try electric
That sound was a pack of coyotes. I hear them nightly in the summer where I live. Even when you know what it is, it still sounds super freaky. I love your videos, keep ‘em coming bro. And stay safe out there!
I thought coyotes as well but it almost sounds like chimpanzees. 🧐 I hear coyotes quite a bit too but maybe the microphone made it sound a little differently.
Idk it didn't really sound like coyotes
*Chimpanyotes... They're a new cryptid hybrid of a squatch and skinwalker. A.K.A. "The Skinsquatch." 😄 Urbex is officially the first one ever to discover / document this creature.
at first i thought birds and then listened more carefully and realized i heard that sound many of times so I'm going with coyotes cause that's how they sound when in a pack...
They also have wolves in Ohio now. It was confirmed years ago.
Honestly.dude I always worry when your uploads take over a month to come out, scared that something might have happened to you. Thanks for the best urbex content on YT
Your videos are absolutely awesome. I so appreciate the in depth story background. BTW you're bravery is amazing and fun to ride along with.
Thank you so much!
Agreed. I love the historical research you do for each location you visit. Stay safe out there Mr. Hill.
I agree, i live in Washington PA but my uncle lives in Columbus Ohio love the vids bro
Are you all serious? You tell this man he's brave for seeking out and essentially provoking evil spirits, ON THEIR TERRITORY?!?!? Do you have ANY idea what these spirits would do to him if they weren't being restrained to an extent?!?! If you really cared for this man, you would be trying to deter him from doing these foolish things. You would be praying for him. Trying to interact with the spiritual world is dangerous, therefore that is why God commands us not to do it, FOR OUR PROTECTION. Not because He is trying to keep us from "having fun".
Mr. Hill, my prayer is for you to seek the Living God, not the unimaginably wicked SPIRITS that despise Him, everything He holds dear, everything He loves.........such as people which were made in His image.

My daughter and I found your channel a few weeks ago and binge watched all of your videos! We were so excited to watch this one tonight! Great video!
I am literally doing the same thing. Lol just found it less than a week ago and I am hooked. New subscriber for now until i can afford to be a member. Much love and stay safe out there. 🫶🫶🫶🫶
Also, I think the eye shine was a deer. The coyotes in the background was the noise you heard. They sounded pretty far off though so you were not in any danger. They can smell us humans and tend to steer clear of us.
exactly the same for me and mine!
I practically live in hell town off Boston mills road. I’ve been there and all over the surrounding area. The only creepy thing I ever experienced was in an abandoned house that has since been tore down. The house was filled with belonging. Even two cars, one a truck from the 50’s in an attached garage that appeared in very good shape. The attic was filled with boxes of belongings. It looked like whoever lived there died or just left everything they owned behind. I found old bottles of mercury. The spooky thing was in the kitchen. There was a modern looking cooler on the ground that seemed out of place. Inside the cooler someone had stuffed a dead raccoon in it.. this house was in the middle of the woods surrounded by nothing. We weren’t being loud and didn’t spend much time outside the house. It didn’t take long for cops to show up and chase us out of there. When he rides his bike into the “shop area” at the start of the video that is where me and my coworkers did the a chipseal job by hand. Essentially the ground is very fine gravel over top of liquid asphalt. I ended up getting heat exhaustion that day and passed out after the job was over. I’ve been in the paper mill building before the tore down the structure that housed it.
Live here as well, unless your afraid of boomers in Subaru's going hiking, this town is about as safe as it gets lol.
Every other youtuber hears a noise, runs away. URVEX HILL HEARS A NOISE, IMMEDIATELY WALKS THAT WAY!! SAVAGE
I know, I always talk to him thru the screen saying, "Don't go towards it, are you crazy?". But secretly, I'm glad he does. 😂
aka STUPID (no hate tho)
because it's probably fake
His balls so big the lead the way
@@plov357i live in the area and visit these abandoned properties regularly. they’re gut horrifying at these hours without a few buddies although i’m sure he brings atleast one friend to make noises and add suspense. gotta keep people watching somehow, most of these properties are just the same old decay, mold, and trash and it would be boring to watch a 30 minute video of someone exploring a massive building all in the same condition. it gets old after you see so many in person
Great to get some background history before the exploration.
Once again, I admire your tenacity; I would get lost in a wilderness like that, especially at night.
PS: 🚲 Clever to bring a bicycle, that's something I haven't seen before in urban exploring.👍
Sounded like an electric bike too
Hey Chris, coming from Nuke’s top 5. I love your videos they’re awesome but please be safe going to places alone. I think I saw one videos where you had a run in with someone lurking in a house. Honestly it scared the shit out of me lol, have fun and be safe.
Those noises when you were in the barn, those are coyotes, but as far as the other strange noises, I can’t make out what it is. And then those eyes looking back at you in the tall grass. It looks like something tall. Was creepy.

Great video. I love the history and the sheer terror of walking in those woods at night, alone! I could never do that, but I am thankful you are brave enough to.
You are my number one favorite person on TH-cam! I absolutely love your eye for things, especially architecture. At the barn, definitely a pack of coyotes, and that "path" you were walking on after the barn is actually an animal path, mostly deer, bear, coyotes, but all animals probably use it. You could tell by how narrow it was and it led to a marshy area where there is probably water somewhere. But all those other sounds you heard were creepy! The trail you found on the way back was a walking trail for people. Definitely a scary video. I loved it!
What a intense video.. thats pretty cool how u filmed it felt like it was me on that scary adventure 😆 great job! 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
*lol* That was funny!
alternate title: dude experiences nature for the first time XD I trust the coyotes and deer way more than a random crackhead in a run down building
Dude I live here, its a affluent suburb with a ski resort, a extremely popular trail in the CVNP, and a Costco. Its laughably safe and no crackheads to be found. Its honestly funny finding this video. Yes I have heard the lore when I was a kid, had no idea anyone even heard of it besides some locals twenty years saying "it haunted lol". If you are afraid of boomers in Subarus with "vote blue no matter who" bumper stickers, then avoid this town.
That first sound was like remnants from the native battle, the eyeballs may have been Bigfoot. I was scared to death walking thru the forest with you, you are one brave soul Chris.
I agree on the battle!!,that was crazy!
That's exactly what I thought, also.
Nope, just a deer. Deer eyeballs was what he saw.

Since when did deer eyeshine look like that?
Someone give this man a documentary series and bags of money 💰 Absolutely the best urban exploration videos hands down!
I really like this channel, and so far the fact that comments were never over the top or no clickbait thumbnail usually. Please keep it this way, stay different from other channels and unique.
Hey there! I just found your videos and I want to say you are one of the bravest dudes I’ve ever seen! The first video I watched was the one where you were pushed and knocked out for 10 minutes! I was sitting here with my mouth wide open! I couldn’t believe it! And then the apparitions you caught on the screen…just terrifying!
I have watched several more and I so enjoyed watching, I just don’t know how on earth you do it without seeming scared! 😳 Now my “mama mode” kicks in, please, please be careful out there!
New fan, love your work!
You must be from the city... 😅 The sounds you heard while in that old barn/building was just a pack of coyotes.
The eyeballs you saw out in the field was most definitely a deer.
I live in rural Ohio, so I hear and see these things all the time. ;)
The best channel on TH-cam, URBEX HILL, real and realistic. Thank you, thank you, thank you
Enthralling. I can't imagine being alone and do what you do. Amazing work.
Educational, heart wrenching, and spooky. It's nice to see some one taking a compassionate approach to their reckless behavior exploring dangerous abandoned areas. Please do think about going in a pair or group for these adventures in the future for your own safety. And thank you for another insightful video.

Those were coyotes, they make some wild noises at night, those eyes in the field were a whitetail deer. Cool vid I like that you’re venturing out. A lot of cool places in ohio.
Thanks for clearing up those glowing eyes. If you go frame by frame, you can see it is quickly turning its head (probably before escaping).
Are deer that tall, though? He said its height was from 6 -9 feet tall.

This entire video is BS lol. I live in this town, its a wealthy suburb with a costco and a ski resort lol. I never even heard of a crime being committed besides speeding.
This is Absolutely horrifying and Inspiring at the same time
Wow Chris, that place was really creepy. that was such a long walk you had to get out of there. Thanks for sharing that story about Helltown, I wasn't familiar with that at all, interesting to what happened there, felt bad those residents were forced to move from their homes. I enjoyed the video, but was worried for your safety trying to get out of there completely. Those glowing eyes were creepy as all hell, I would have been terrified walking around in that dark field/woods. Take care Chris, will there be a part 2?
Everyone should feel bad to what happened to the natives , it is their land and they forcibly kicked out
Thank you for posting, you are my favorite channel!! No one does videos the way you do!!
Pure sound no background music that is the most superb thing in urbex hill videos 👍
Those sounds you heard sounded like Natives fighting and giving out "War Cries!" Not even joking at all!
I guess they could be coyotes (?). They have a pretty similar sounding cry and do tend to start screaming all together.
I thought the same thing!!! Sounds like Natives.
Sounds like black dudes fighting over territorium and chicken
Takes a lot of heart to walk the desolate woods, alone at night in these days. Probably twice your age, experienced things that keep me clear from the woods now. Know you carry, but the things that are out there, it would not stop regardless. Truly enjoy your videos! Be safe...
You can't just say that. Now you have to tell us what you've seen
You would have get the Award for best creepy and scary explorations. Those noises sounded really quite terrifying, natives being murdered or tortured. Just love your videos. Thankyou!
Yes, that's what I think it sounds like - a battlefield, and Native Americans yelling.

Love your videos. I've been following you since you started. This video was amazing. Loved the bike explore through the trail. Just hearing the crickets and frogs was beautiful. The glowing eyes could have been a deer. I've followed trails until they stopped and kept going until I literally couldn't walk through the woods anymore. Anyways, I loved this video. Appreciate that 💯
Love when you put all the history before you go to the places! Awesome work URBEX HILL!
That was an awesome video! Beautifully filmed and creepy as HELL! YOU are one brave soul.
I know where this place is i'm a fellow Ohioan who is into history and adventures, You have the biggest stones for going there alone at night when i wouldn't go alone during the day time. I wear hearing aids but only had in earbuds with my laptop and i couldn't make out the sounds, the giant eyes got me. I feed a family of deer, the color at night is close to what you filmed but the height and space between the eyes looked much too large to be a deer, don't know what else it could be.
Exactly! I compared it to deer and other animals in ohio and none fit the height
@URBEXHILL Here in Washington State, we would naturally think those eyes belonged to a sasquatch. The sound that you heard after you noticed the eyes is one I've heard here, too. It was a completely different sound as the later sounds that were definitely coyotes. We have had sightings, huge footprints and howls, whoops & screams (too loud to be man, cougar or bear) where I live, that don't fit any documented animal. So regardless of what those people think, who've never had that kind of experience before, I for one have, and it's terrifying. Those eyes were too wideset and high up to be deer, imo.

Bro, awesome video! The noise at the barn sounded like people in a battle 😦super creepy! And the glowing eyes, I know you always carry, but that must've been terrifying. Anyway, glad you're okay 😎
At timestamp 28:29? It’s what u call a cute fluffy cat starring at you on top of a fence or a tree. And that fluffy cat is like wtf is this stupid human doing here??? 😂 I hope he’s not here to snag the mice I’ve been feasting on.😂
The two lights in the swamp are eye shine. It could be anything. But because it was focused on you intently, there's no telling what that was. You were smart to turn around. Great content .. 😊
It's a deer. You can tell by the color and the how the animal bolted.
Looks like a Dogman to me.
@@FreeOpenTruthyes i think too :)
lol 😂
@@Princess_Celestia_
The color looks carnivore-tinted to me. The flatness of the reflective back (I always forget the name), and the distance between the eyes and their direction forward also make me think this. The height is there, for a deer, being far above the scrub. I don't feel it's a deer, though. Deer eyeshine is usually reddish to orange, not yellow-green like that.
Edit: Oh, I forgot to add: it doesn't appear to be "bolting," at least, in my opinion. It looked like it was definitely slinking about and trying to remain hidden, but with techniques more like not looking into the light source, walking quietly away from the human, etc.
What scares me about these clips is not the unknown, or what Chris might encounter. It’s his bravery that scares the shit out of me! When we are frightened, our instinct tells us to run the other direction, but Chris continues on and faces it!!!!! Very brave man!
Dude. Balls of steel. Always epic content!
Do not even apologize for the heavy breathing, by that time you had been trucking it for a what seems like miles. You are clearly in good shape and I'm so glad you brought us along on this ONE OF A KIND exploration, it was a literal journey!!!!!👍👍
Thank you! Ditto on many of the great comments. What I noticed was the silence, no crickets, when you were at the end of the trail (or deer path), when you saw the eyes. Freaky! I can't bring myself to walk in the dark any more, did it without any artificial light. I'm out of the woods at sundown! Live in Cleveland and also explore areas that were once very populated and now are almost completely overgrown. 😊
You really worry me doing this by yourself! So so brave...

Foxes sound even creepier than a band of coyotes. Foxes, if you are unaccustomed to their yelps, can sound so totally deranged 😂
Nope, nope, nope! I would never go into the woods at night, especially alone! Another reason why I call you brave.
I think the noises by the barn were coyotes, but it does sound a lot like a battle of some sort. The eyes were quite possibly a bear. May have been hunting food for it's hibernation, so glad it didn't make you it's meal!

13:08 The bug that sounds like a kazoo or a wind-up toy is called the deathwatch beetle (the one with the deeper tone than the rest). People used to believe they were was alerting the grim reaper towards the souls he was meant to claim.
13:45 Someone drew graffiti of a dogman in the barn. How's that for foreshadowing?
17:00 Sounds like a massacre or a raiding party. Or the Lost Boys when they're all hanging from the railroad tracks.😆
23:50 I'm about 80% a skeptic, but for some crazy reason ever since my dog died I've been obsessed with the idea of seeing a dogman. Assuming for a moment (out of pure speculation) that's what you encountered, can you tell me what it felt like? Or if you saw anything the camera didn't pick up in that moment?
As for all of those crazy ass noises -- and there were a LOT -- all I can tell you is what it's not: Not a cougar. Not a coyote. Wolf...like? But also not. Not a bear. No predator I've ever heard but to be fair I've never heard a moose. Not that there are moose in Ohio. My werebeagle used to play-growl and sounded just like Beevis laughing though.
Thanks for doing this. I know you put a lot of hard work into these, including taking a few years off your life from fear at times. Just don't give yourself PTSD or anything. No fun at all.💜
That 17:00 was most definitely a coyotes

@@Jordan_Sweet Admittedly, if I remember correctly I was stoned on old lady meds at the time. I think what I was assuming was Dogman might actually be an owl. It's on the side of the stair hatch in the floor, center-ish of screen. Still creepy though.
@@abusamra47 You're right! I don't think I knew what coyotes fully sounded like when they were deciding to hunt. However, that brings a couple more layers of creepiness on its own. The timing can't possibly be orchestrated. Or...they were voting on hunting Chris.

The animal sounds you asked about could definitely be a Skunk Ape or Big Foot. It's also been said in Ohio that there's a Dog-Man type of creature. That would definitely fall into the Shadow Government creations. They actually bragged about doing that crap. There was an interview with a retired military guy that I saw. He said, "we know they exist because we created them." (assholes).
Many of the breeding of different species practices came from Plumb Island. By the Black Ops or better known as the Black Military.

So, the eyes at 28:10 may have been a Skinwalker or the myth of the Goatman. The Goatman was originally in a horror game called do you copy?, but it also has myths that it might be real. While a skinwalker usually mimics a human voice just like the Goatman. So it might have been the Goatman scream, or a skinwalker mimicking someone.

i visited helltown probably about a year and a half ago. it was a erratic decision made by me and 3 other friends. i did very minimal research before going as i felt there wasn't good enough video showing what was even there. took us almost an hour to get there and we found nothing other than "helltown" spraypainted on the road, we also heard some othe same noises you did. we walked SO FAR eventually just turning around and going home because it felt like we were just walking through a metropark at 3am. so thank you for making this video and showing what we missed. amazingly detailed video please keep up the hard work.

Hey!! Great to see you back!! Great video! The first noise by the building is coyotes. They gather at night and howl and make those noises. During the day, they are alone mostly, nighttime they gather into a pack and hunt. The eyes, I was thinking of a deer until you said they were 8-10ft tall. That could only be a Bigfoot. The thing following you, well it could be the Bigfoot or could be a big cat... Cougar, panther, Bob cat. I'm glad you go packing wherever you go. Be careful! Thank you for researching the places you go. You spend a lot of time on the places you go. I enjoy the videos. They really creep me out! Lol! I don't get creeped out easy.
Hey at 29:42 you wanted to know what made that noise, thats not a creature sound that i am aware of and ive gone in the woods all my life , i am 60 years old and ive hunted all my life, but theres creatures like the one you caught with glowing eyes, those creatures are appearing in forests all across the united states, someone needs to reveal this publicaly because hunters in every state are seeing and hearing human like, but not human creatures, like the first blade runner movie
Failed experiments the government doesn't want to talk about. Mainly because most are victims of kidnapping.
