As my wife was getting dressed today she put on some very colorful pants and I said they look festive, like a party, then my mind went to this song. I started to sing it to her, then thought about you tube. What a great time , you can find anything.
Great memories of hanging with friends at 49th street Mining company in St. Pete. Watching you guys play. Always tried to make a show, so much fun and great energy!. After moving to NC I always kept expecting to see this band and or Stranger getting National attention.

@Frank Campanello - I probably hung out with you way back in the 80's at the Point After bar

Hello, Franco: I hope you are doing well. It’s too bad Four-In-Legion didn’t go further. Their stuff was a great mix of styles - expertly performed and produced.

    • @flinken33624

@@WarpedRecord I thought the mix was lame. Probably the pride & engineering never says live to capture what the band REALLY sounded like. The problem why I think the album didn't sell is also there were Too many different styles of music on 1 album. They don't know how to put us into @ category. Were we, rock, pop or Reggie?

I remember hearing this in '84 or '85 on 95YNF (or 98 Rock - but I think it was 95 YNF because they supported local bands more). Glad you uploaded this. It's been 30 years since I had a copy of this. Great find. Thanks.

These guys played our football team fundraiser at lake Brantley high outside Orlando around 1983, they were called the vandals then. Changed their names because they don’t a big label contract. They were a blast in the good old days

I used to sing this to my wife without knowing why...tonight I put the puzzle pieces together: I went to college at UCF in the 1980s and must have seen this group at a bar. Thanks for solving the mystery!

Originally the Vandals, they changed the name in the early 80s. Great shows at Bullwinkles in Tallahassee for several years. We were the Modern Age. This studio recording doesn't do justice to how good these guys were live. They always packed the house.

A disc jockey named Uncle Vito for PYX-106 near Albany, NY area used to sample this for an intro to one of his segments I believe in the 90s sometime.

That's where I knew this from. I'm in the Berkshires in Massachusetts and used to get PYX 106 when I was a kid. I looked for this song for a long time.

Thank you so much for this....Ive been looking for it for a long time. I was a huge fan in the 80's of these guys. They would come to Valdosta, Georgia very frequently along with the Stranger Band and lay waste...Played golf with Jaguar the lead singer a few times...definately a better singer than golfer...Jim in Jacksonville

Thanks -- Glad to bring back some memories. It's a shame some of those songs were never released digitally. There are a couple of other songs from their allbum floating around TH-cam (I posted some; others have as well). They are worth checking out. The guitar player, Ziggy Luis, still plays and is now in the Mobile, Alabama area.
