Hearing about your creative block, perhaps switching off to something like cities skylines would help? There’s tons of assets and freedom, and seeing how you lay out roads and surrounding neighborhoods you would thrive. I know I may be one person, but I’d adore seeing you do a modded cities skylines play through.
Tacking onto this, there’s tons of stuff for rail especially in the North American category, even moreso mods that allow you to create scripted events for realistic looking functioning industry. The CS community greatly lacks people who are keen on railroading
Joe what ive seen is areas like that they will make an T junction (or a round about) and leave the left side of the T going into some jersey barriers because the rest of the road is not complete at all so it stops people from going down that road or lack of a road. Just an idea of something you could do cause it shows that if they wanted to build more office buildings they can. plus having the area semi cleared will give the impression that it'll be used for something in later years.
Very good high quality videos Approach! I always love watching you take blank baseboards and breath life into them, it’s an art almost. Been following this route for a long time and love to se how far its come. Always enjoyable and fun to watch. Ps. Instead of using those dumb billboard TRC crossings use the ATLAS crossings. And you don’t have to go through the long process of setting up all that ATLAS stuff. Just use them as if they were the regular TRC ones. The assets are called RR Crossing. As always have fun and create great content -Gun
This build reminds me a lot of an area in Auburn Hills, MI where a lot of contractors are for the auto industry. I had to test drive a lot through that area. Great work as always Joe! Trying to get caught up on some of your vids. :)
I don't know if heard of this game called Transport Fever 2, but I feel that it would be right up your alley and it could probably help you get rid of your creative block. It basically focuses on transportation and rail is an important part of it. I'm not sure if you'd like it but I think it could be something that can help.

I haven’t given up on it. Other projects have temporarily taken priority over the Rochester build. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick it up again in the future.

I think its because there's stuff you used that I dont have downloaded. If possible, please make a list as that will help me out tremendously. Thanks. (P.S. Anyone else having trouble with TRC crossing triggers? I've got the :16 version and have tried almost every other version of it, and all of them are unusable and give me a prompt saying "Error: PropertyBrowserRefresh() not handled." I've tried on even blank routes and I still have this issue, unfortunately. Trainz is up to date as well
Hi.......2004,2006,2009,2010 and 2012 I have these ,but the first 2 don't work now , is there a way of organising tree,track,buildings and the like so it makes it easier to find? Because I have track within different places ie buildings section has track and turntables and grass , in track section I have track and turntables and grass in? . Please help if its possible Or should I just buy 2019 if this will sort it out? ? ? Mike

That "DB" on one of your Building is "Deutsche Bahn" logo, means German Railroad ;-D

Problem is that ATLS crossings when you load a rout can be buggy. Trc at least don't have these problems (at least for me).

Great video! From watching your videos I can say I have gotten better at route building.

If you want good performance, then yes you would want a graphics card.
