You are exactly correct. Earlier very few people like me, used to watch content films on OTT which is the best source, but now due to this lock 🔐 down, Big film fans are also constrained to go for OTT, which may not last long as you rightly said and the viewing on big screen will be resumed very soon.

I have installed Home Theater system @ Home &as compared the money spent on movie tickets is more affordable then in cinema halls also I can watch movie on my time so I 100% go with movies on OTT.

Therefore, I am a video editor and I want to work in Bollywood as a movie editor but I am not getting any sort of right knowledge about where I should start, what course I should take to learn that sort of editing, or any training in Mumbai, whom I should approach, how to make a career in Bollywood as a professional video editor? If I'll take a risk of coming to Mumbai for this career will that be a good decision right now? whom I should visit there, and which studio would be great for a beginner in a movie editing career?

Informative..but I think u missed 1 point..Sadak2 which could have been a big faiilure had it been released in theatres, but Vishesh Films got around 50Cr and made money from a Trash Film..In short..selling on OTT for some premium amount means avoiding the risk of a FLop film..plus the producers get direct money which is generally reduced to hallf in case of theatrical release because of Distributor & Exhibitor comission...lets see how KHALI PEELI fares for Zee5
Sadak 2 would have made a huge profit even if it had been released in cinemas as OTT, satellite and all other rights are pre-sold, more so in the case of big-banner and big star-cast films. So, don’t worry, I’ve not missed any point.

Sir but the money which was going to theatre house is also been saved. Uus movie ko desh ya videsh ke har kone bhe bhejna uska paisa baach gaya, star promotion ke liye jaate the jis tarah ya mean se jaate the first class ticket and all uska kharcha bach gaya. And last but not least at some extent piracy ka dhanda chopat hua.
Kyunki since people are on prime, Netflix and hotstar they ll love to see the original print rather than watching theatrical recorded pirated movie
