The Weird and the Wonderful CDXCIII: The Decapitated Chicken and Other Stories by Horacio Quiroga

Today we will tackle the work of famed Uruguayan storyteller, Horacio Quiroga, specifically the 1976 selection of his stories translated into English, "The Decapitated Chicken and Other Stories".
Being stories of madness, death, revenge, some more death, a magical transformation by ways of a talking serpent, and then a bit more death to even things out.
