I was in college reviewing subjects for next day's exam at 3-4 am when the news came out. I stopped what I was doing at that time and kept on scrolling twitter and news reports to get updates.
The sun was up and the whole country was in mourning mode. Even the radio stations played sad songs for weeks. A lot of things happened after that, everything revolved around MH370 for months, and yeah not to forget Air Asia with their stupid tagline for their new ads (they were badly bashed at that time). And also that was the first time I was actually feeling a lit bit sympathy looking at our PM and defence minister at every press conference on TV (we detested the whole cabinet). They barely looked like human during those period of time (not sure if they even gotten any sleep).
And not long after, mh17 was shot down. 2014 was really a painful year for MAS, the downfall of the airline.

I was in an AirAsia flight in the next year 2015, coming back from Tokyo to KL. There was a very bad turbulence en route, I believe it due was poor weather, and it woke me up. Given what just happened the year before, I was praying inside that this was not my last moment. My friends felt the same but we tried not to talk about it until we landed, and I'm sure most if not all the others in the flight were feeling the same. The incidents with MH370 and MH17 really traumatised many Malaysians for a while.

40 minutes video felt like 20 woa this was an interesting documentary. I personally dont think it was the pilot. Even if it's about politics it's just odd to just kill the entire plane without showing any strange behaviour beforehand, especially in Malaysian culture that's super attentive to one another. I'm more inclined to Miles' idea of the passengers being hijackers in disguise. This is completely a theory btw: FYI when the flight made its first deviation from initial direction, it flew over Kedah before reaching Penang. Kedah has *a lot* of paddy fields and flat lands, and it's also possible that the pilots tried to land at Penang Airport thus why they went low enough for them to detect the iphone. Could be that the hijackers did something with the engine, and managed to get access to the pilot room just before they could make a safe landing at the airport, thus why the flight changed direction once again from Penang Island. 2014 was indeed a devastating year for Malaysia. We talked about it everywhere. In news, schools, colleges, homes, restaurants..

The 777 model was a newer one that was possible to be controlled remotely. After the incident, Malaysia Airlines began a fleet change plan where all 777s were replaced with Airbus A330s and A350s that could not be controlled remotely. Today Malaysia Airlines does not operate 777s anymore.

You are probably speaking about RC planes then, as such a system have never been on commercial plane. If you have proof to the claim then i cladly stand corrected. But i dont think so, those experts which was helping to find the plane for sure would know that. And official report dismissed it, that is some concrete evidence against your claim.

My best theory is that the veteran pilot locked the co pilot out of the cabin then brought the plane way above its regular flying altitude, only dropped oxygen masks for the cockpit and let everyone else in the plane pass out due to lack of oxygen. He then brought the plane back down after who knows how many hours and was able to be pinged on radar again which is when the plane requested a connection to satcom and re established that connection. But he purposely ignored communication requests because he was plan was in action. He then flew the plane on that path down towards Western Australia and took it back up into high altitude again and into Malaysian military airspace but was out of range of their radar due to being so high in altitude. Then he drops it down again into a low altitude right when he reaches military airspace and since they’ve had no time to request identification or anything they take no chances and shoot it straight outta the sky. Their very own people! Now who tf would want to admit to blowing up 200+ citizens of their own country? That would be probably the biggest fk up in modern day wouldn’t you think? Idk probably one of the most inaccurate theory’s you’ve ever heard but I do think that the pilot had a major role in whatever did happen and he may of appeared all happy and smiling but the truth is these kinda things are always done by people you least expect. Just like suicide! It’s typically someone who you never would’ve thought was going through such a tough time with themselves yet they still did it. Murder/suicide is what I think for sure!

Just had to make some comments on your reaction & questions regarding this.
RE:WIFI and net access on a plane: WIFI might not have been in use on international flights at the time. On domestic flights it might have been possible but not when crossing different airspaces of different countries.
RE: Australian search & use of sonar/radar:I live in Perth and both the Australian Navy and Air Force based here did a number of missions over the search area for a long time & it was mainly paid for by the Australian government. The best equipment that was available at the time was used including radar and sonar, but the major issue of the search was not just the distance and remoteness of the area, but the depth of the sea bed as well. Parts of the Indian Ocean have very very deep trenches that current sonar equipment could not have been able to pick up anything from. Hopefully underwater search technology will improve? Having said that, some parts of the ocean are not as deep which leads onto the answer below.
RE: The plane being dissolved underwater & therefore unable to be found: if you are unaware of Western Australia's shipwreck history then let me enlighten you with the only bit of hope that I can give to the families of the victims. Our shipwreck history is so vast and dates back to the 1600's with ships from Holland, Portugal, France & Great Briton being discovered all along our coastline. During the search for the plane another 2 shipwrecks from the 1800's were discovered. This means that if we are still finding old wooden/metal ships then the plane can still be found. The problem is not knowing if the plane completely broke up on entry into the water but even if the main fuselage sunk intact then that can still be found, if it did not end up in the very deep underwater trenches.
RE: theories it crashed at Christmas Island: Christmas Island is owned by Australia and is inhabited and has regular shipping in the area so any debris would have washed ashore or found by now.
In addition, there is growing speculation that the plane actually crashed more north of the search area: off the coast of Western Australia between 2 towns called Carnavon and Geraldton. When you look again at the water tidal movement pattern, these towns are nearest to this area, but they are both small & semi-remote, not a major city like Perth. The distance to sail and fly search vessels from Perth to the area depicted in the tidal movement pattern, would take much longer and be much more expensive due to its remoteness. Not many people realize that Australia is the same size of USA. And at this point in time until something more conclusive comes up then the Australian search effort is only suspended for now.

I just got done watching the documentary on Netflix and I must say that this information is much better than that documentary. The Netflix documentary spends a lot of time with the news reporter narrating different conspiracy theories. Personally, I believe that the pilot is 100% responsible for the loss of the plane. The documentary was even trying to blame the man who found much of the debris as a Russian agent who planted it on the shorelines. I also think that it is terrible for the families who have had to live with this tragedy, to be constantly bombarded by misinformation coming from media sources.

Hydrophones can't really be used to infringe on anyone's rights (regardless of the fact that its international waters and country-specific laws don't apply, as you pointed out in the edit) they're more used to analyse tectonic disruptions, listen in on marine life, and detect any other unusual noises. In an ocean full of noise and crashing waves. Its not like a microphone hidden in a room, more like a microphone in the middle of a busy factory.

If you think about the simplicity of the situation, it's actually not that mysterious. Plane Hijackings have happened and will happen as long as planes exist. Passengers and Pilots will go insane and take over the plane as long as mental illness exists. There are untold numbers of reasonable, human explanations for why this happened.

Had to have been terrorism, otherwise why wouldn't the passengers just break into the pilots cabin via sheer group force and crash land in the water?. And also if the pilots were just unconscious the passengers could have broken in and attempted a emergency landing. But they didn't for some reason...-...230 people on a doomed 6 hour straight shot and none of them get into the cabin?. Something happened. Maybe some sort of gas was released or something.

  • @dankdopths6955

I want to look at the political landscape, and especially whoever Malaysia was in political beef with. I feel like this could have been a political stunt from another country. That would explain why the path is so unusual, they intended to commit suicide and kill many citizens, like what happened in 9/11, and why Malaysia doesn't want to say anything, they probably didn't want to make further conflict with the country in question, and probably didn't want the citizens to be scared.
I don't think it was aliens. I personally believe that any alien wouldn't have a want, nor a good reason to interact with us. We constantly fear the idea of aliens, the very saying of "I think aliens are to blame for 370" is the biggest reason they wouldn't interact with us, we fear them and would likely attack. They would probably want to watch from a distance with a fascination and nothing further. If you think about it, if we were to damage one of their ships, well, that may end there. It will cost a lot of money for them, and the destruction would probably not be told until YEARS later, so it would just be best for an alien to get resources from planets that have no life on them.

There are so many conspiracies but for me this video is the best for not being to controversial. Because I think it was political agenda but we can't say it's because obviously we have no proof, I mean like the plane was going toward China and many Chinese Malaysia or Chinese live in Malaysia for businesses proposes or politics could be the reason.. maybe they were bringing such golds, political things?. But hey let's not get that deep bc it's to controversial. (No hate to China or other countries it just a theory) wallahualam
