- Welcome back to our channel everyone! Today we have this 2010 Infiniti fx35 and we will show the process on how to remove the Airbag module or also called SRS module, the process is the same on most infinities with same year productions.

Thank you so much for this video brother you just saved me $1800 from the Infiniti dealership. With this I was able to remove my SRS module sent to be cleared of the previous crash code rather than buy another and have it reinstalled at the dealership for a whopping $1800! Thanks very much!

I dread trim removal: one needs to know where the pressure points are and how much pressure to apply. And sometimes, those aren't evident. Great video. Thanks.
Trim removal can be tricky with some cars exactly like you said, you’re more than welcome glad the video was helpful!
Such bull, All you have to do is take the Module to get reflashed and reset for $60-150 depending who is doing it.. No meed to repurchase a $1800 module and then have to marry it to the Vin number again.
When they flash the original module all car info including vin stays the same and accident codes go back to blank or OEM.
God stuff but thats a lot of work to get to the Airbag module. Nissan Frontier, pull up cup holder, snaps right out and viola, access to module, bolts and harness attached to it..

Yes that’s indeed true although in come cases I have seen the modules needing to be purchased new and couldn’t be reset it’s very unfortunate for customers because the cheapest new SRS modules is $1200 😭 but you know what’s truly sad is that going forwards starting 2022 a lot of companies have made their SRS modules locked so they can’t even be reset making it necessary to buy a new one 😢
It is is a lot of work 🥲 the Armada are the same you pull the cup holder and upper trim on the center console and it’s right there barely a 10 min job 😂
