I knew it was gonna be Dragstrider and Mukuro from the start due to the fact that both prior Persona Strides with Chronojet and Messiah are formerly Stride Fusions
honestly i firmly believe the 3 decksets being $50 each are amazing, especially for a new player, you get a box, deckbox, sleeves, and a full deck, and the decks aren't crazy to learn, so they can be perfect for a new player
This is why I got Messiah and I'm getting Orfist when that drops almost entirely for the Elementaria and Bobalmine but there's other good stuff in that like Combine
I'm so hyped for Shiranui, to the point I'm considering getting the Premium version of the set 😆 My brother is not too happy about Shiranui and Dominate coming to Standard, but then again, there's several of my decks he doesn't like across all formats 🤣 My Shiranui in Premium (not fully upgraded at that)? Angers him (even though he has a deck that can sort of counter it) NG Heroes? He calls it bullshit because high shield and forcing all swings to go to Van Witches/Sorcere? Witch of Frogs, Melissa, need I say more? XD Bruce? bs because 6 attacks with "low effort to reach" or something lol And he'd probably call my Wilista deck bs post FesCol upgrade too 😂
Can someone recommend me what stride deckset to get? Or at the very least give me their gimmicks and their strong/weak points and the general strategy that they have (I don't play premium so idk what does luard and shiranui does)
i have never had much interest in investing in a format full steam, most of my decks are just trial decks with minor alterations from some packs i got stupid lucky with. but i own a G-RC02/019EN RRR Evil-Eye Hades Emperor, Shiranui Mukuro and i feel so damn tempted to invest in a purchase of the Shiranui Stride deckset
I can't wait to be playing Standard and not only hear Breaking the Rock while playing Youthberk, but also hear Chrono's theme, Ibuki's theme, Luard's theme and Shiranui's theme at the same time. Locals is going to be wild.
If Mukuro's effects would be similar to the original, then i don't think it'll be too problematic, since we currently already have a board wiper in Gandheeva, tho then again, Mukuro would be a cheaper board wipe cost-wise And for me personally when it comes to the 2nd G unit, really hoping for Mujinlord

No way in hell! I know right from the start that the finisher Stride will be Mukuro. Rinne is the Stride Fusion of Zanki, there is no way he is gonna be in this set. Dragstrider was a surprise though, I thought they will make Dragdriver as a finisher like in V. But I guess it's safe to say that Dragdriver is the first Stride.
@@ZhadTheRad that'd have to be in a banlist which realistically wouldn't happen since the next one is in September while the Deckset releases in November. The next closest banlist afterwards ought to be in December but then it's very doubtful they'd make any changes to the decksets restrictions considering it'd be harmful to product sales.
And with that new grade 3 for Gandeeva standard format is officially unplayable. This deck gets insane support cards immediately after it comes out which makes the deck go from 5% ability to counterplay to 0%.
I think your concern is valid, but saying standard is unplayable (especially at an official capacity) is an over exaggeration. Since the deck was already on the watch list this'll likely push it into the restriction, and in WGP Korea last weekend we saw several Tamayuras and Minervas which self-clear their boards sweep through the Gandeevas as well, so I don't think it's unbeatable even after this support either.
Eh, this new grade 3 isn't that amazing actually. The on-field effect is like a Worse Stigrna since it needs to bind from hand and doesn't interact with Best Harvest. It also kind of conflicts with Alfaqaar since you want your front row to be 2 Alfaqaars ideally.
I’ll 100% take G-Zone being back for Stride Decks than dealing with Imaginary Gifts. Brings a spice to D format with a mechanic that’s generally a fan favorite. I just wish encounters were exclusive to that instead of bringing back the Blasters, Overlord, and friends. Now THAT’s the nostalgia fight
