Monster Truck Challenge LIVE Orange VA 2024

The Monster Truck Challenge LIVE (formerly known as the Monster Truck Racing League) brought monster trucks to the Orange County Fair for the first time ever! Three industry icons did their best to put on a show, but a series of mechanical gremlins and part failures led to a rough night of competition.

The fact that Predator damaged the rear tie rod not once but twice is funny and even when it landed smoothly it just gives out lol

It seems like Awesome Kong is going for the world record for the highest amount of blown engines from doing almost nothing at all, even from simply driving out of the hauler. Nothing "awesome" about that truck except it's paintjob.

Gee, there's not many shows I watch that make me feel bad for those in attendance, but this is one of them. I hope tickets weren't pricy. It was more like a small demonstration than an actual competition.

I've always wondered what would happen if every truck broke down at some crap show like this lol. They legit were down to a single truck, that's crazy.

In July bloomsburg 4 wheel jamboree they have a nice monster truck lineup with war wizard and block head and more you should go it's amazing

Yeah I saw that. Definitely a good lineup but I don’t like how the event is split over three days. I think I’m going to a different show that weekend

Josh was doing really good in Godzilla. Allen was doing alright for having a broken truck in freestyle, but it's a shame the tie rod gave way early. Track looked slick as well. Not a bad show though, hopefully they get to come back next year!
Also, what happened with Awesome Kong?

@@SamsonMTfan Might need to look into a better engine rebuild on that truck. Seems to go through a lot of them. Kinda wondering what motor is in that truck. Never seems to run right. Then again, not many trucks really run 100% all the time.

Yeah you normally only see 3 truck shows at small county fairs. They just don’t have the budget to pay for more trucks. Still fun though! (for me at least haha)
