Thank you for your comment! I completely agree that AI voice synths are going to become more prevalent in the coming years. It's exciting to think about the possibilities and how they can enhance various aspects of our lives.
@@themanwithaplane3593 I use Linux Mint because it is user-friendly and provides a variety of applications, such as gaming (for me, War Thunder, CS:GO, and World of Warships), programming, and using it as a plug-and-play system from a USB drive. Additionally, I use Mint XFCE for very old machines that I repurpose in my electronics projects for robots. If you're interested in ethical hacking and need a system with a wide range of network and data modification tools, you might want to consider Kali Linux. However, keep in mind that Kali requires a more powerful machine than Mint due to its system structure and included applications.
Debian based OS you can find that are beginner friendly are Debian 12, Ubuntu, mint. Doesn’t look sketchy but for me I use endeavor which is arch based and have the black arch script on top of it to download the tools such as nmap, Sqlmap, metaspoloit etc etc. hope this helps
Kali is great I use it but I you are beter off installing a distro that have the same core. you get good at OSINT/hacking by practicing and pre-installed is not always the best. Also if you do pentesting you will not use many of the the tools in Kali, depends on what you do, But unless you know how networking works, down to ports, protocols, interfaces, packets, the fundamentals your are not ready to use these tools, if you do not know how to create scripts using for example python, likewise. if you want to master hacking you will need to learn hex editing/ASM and so on. You need to understand CVE's... simply using the tools means nothing.
@@leons.kennedy3488 Great start, next my suggestion would be to start with Wireshark since by itself it is one heck of a powerful multipurpose tool, so make sure you read / watch some tutorials on it as it WILL help you to understand the rest of Kali and dovetails with networking... you will see exactly what I mean... also Wireshark is one of THE tools even the most elite of white/blackhats make use of. I hope this helps you... ps... the more you use kali the better you become at using it anyway.
@@leons.kennedy3488 Not sure if youtube but seeing my reply was removed... anyrate since you have a background in networking, start with Wireshark. It is a powerful tool with MANY purposes, and learning by way of tutorials (in-depth) will invariably have you expand outwards... for you that would be a good starting point. Remember also that unless otherwise start doing things by using the terminal, the more you do the better. Lastly make sure you use solid OSINT framework (there are quite a few, but you will figure out which is best). I did reply, not sure why it got removed but if such happens again I will find out, no big issue, just always the case of setting aside time to see EXACTLY who, why, when my replies are removed
There are essentially four distro's geared towards cyber security matters (which I recommend). 1. Kali Linux 2. Parrot OS 3. BlackArch 4. CSI Linux listed of course in order of my recommendation. 1 and 2 being both Debian based and very similar to another (tools differ and GNU). 3 is good but may be WAY too much for most. 4 is good but aimed for those who want something to create 'cases' and such, easier would be to look for yourself. You do not need any of these distro's however, you can use say Arch Linux and DIY the rest to your needs. Thing is, prefer Kali.
@@vinicin.782 because the developers of those tools just don’t feel like adding it to windows and plus any hacking tools like metasploit would be deleted by antivirus software like windows defender on windows because it would be flagged it as hacking
If you were an experienced Linux user you'd just use Debian and install the tools you need, and you wouldn't have been in the crosshairs of the XZ backdoor because you would have been running a stable release distro instead of a testing branch. Kali Linux is Debian Testing on training wheels for wannabe hackers.
Hey, I’m tryna learn about cybersecurity for my future. I’ve heard people say Kali Linux is great for it, but you don’t think so. Why is that? And should I get the google cert along with finishing up my comp sci degree or should i just focus on the degree? Thanks!
im gonna get tracked down and arrested for having kali installed? are we in north korea
That is not what I want saying but thank you for the comment.
No 🙂 most cybersecurity student have it by recommendation or even obligation by their college curriculum
@@mashroom2927 oh really? Have you ever heard of sarcasm?
Kali Linux got popular because of a movie called Mr.Robot which in the movie it showed off kali Linux being used
AI voice synths are gonna be common in some years later

Also great TTS, interesting to know what your use for that but if not I get it... I enjoy the sarcasm and yes good upload.
Well, it provides necessary tools to hackersn
80% of things you said I got in mint distro, but it is very interesting video. I like that👍
Is it secure to use that stuff on mint? Like are you still anonymous?
And what do you use it for?

Then is their a version of Linux that doesnt attract authorities and is a bit more beginner friendly, for like network enginering students? 🙂

simple answer: kali linux provides all the tools needed for a hackers like nmap, metasploit and etc.
And why it isnt in windows too?

It's used by script kiddies and beginners
TOR isnt that secure!
How's that?
You can shield it again with vpn
