    This explained a lot. I remember noticing the tape on your demon dragons but never realized this was how you tied them to your line. Two less knots is two less knots that could fail. Great idea.

    I just make sturgeon's loop with only 1 "wrap" - So basically you take a loop of line, and then tie it into an over hand knot. Now you have a loop at the end of the line. You put the tag end through the eye of whatever lure/hook, and then through the loop you made in your line, now just pull it tight. If using 40lb or larger mono this can be reversed and you can "re-tie" without actually using any knots. Hopefully that makes sense. Never seen it done, or I'd share an example video.

    Tape will work but I use a small rubber band (wife gives me plenty of rubber bands for hair). The rubber band is about the size of a dime and will hold the demon dragon in place on the line and you can still slide it up/down the line if needed.

    Now all I have to do is go get a couple and try this. Example 1 is nice so you can adjust it according to the size of your bait. Good stuff!!

    I wonder how they would work in a lake with zero current … if you think they would work over plain yellow peg floats - why would that be ? Thanks Dieter

      @XwikedXclownX ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haven't used them yet that's why I'm watching this video but I would guess if you're using live bait with a slip weight rig it would rattle even in a currentless lake

    Bank fishing, as I do, and occasionally fishing under a balloon, do you think this rig would catch fish?
    Probably depends on how fast the wind is blowing the balloon out, right?😅

    • @DieterMelhorn
      @DieterMelhorn  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ya, wind plays with balloons and floats

    Small rubber bands work good to hold the float also
