А потом просто стачивали немного кончик, обрезали пасту от ручки вставляли в патрон и собирали всё обратно. Так получалась компактная ручка. А если ещё сделать проточку ближе к капсулю, то получится ручка открывашка.
KAR98 was adapted by german army in mid 30’s meaning They’re either ww2 era or they arnt KAR98 shells/casing and more likely to be G98 ammo which was used throughout ww1 and up until late 30’s where most where replaced by the KAR

He's probably tried. Problem is pens and pencils are literally a dying tool in today's world. My BIL took up this craft/hobby after retirement. Cranked out 100s of them, very good quality. For several years he tried the craft and holiday show circuit. He's actually a decent salesperson and enjoys this aspect of the business but people are rarely willing to pay 20 to 30 bucks for a quality pen. Now, the wooden pipes that he crafts for the cannabis crowd is a different story. He claims they out sell the pens 20 to 1.
I saw a guy trying to do something similar and ended up with the primer in his bicep. The folks at the hospital called it a gunshot wound and called the police. I think them laughing at him hurt more.
Should make and epoxy block with red and orange and black specs on one end. Maybe some gray. And have the rest crystal clear so it resembles and explosion and a shock wave. Maybe a white or gray insert
You should collect the gun powder instead of letting fall on the floor. Someone would buy it. You should also give the pen a coat of polyurethane so the brass doesn't tarnish.

The wood almost looks like a plume of smoke as the cartridge is firing the pen tip. If the tip was copper it would sell the effect even more.
