Tough to do this show today. Bench and Lasorda were absolutely perfect, irreplaceable

I used to watch this show every Saturday. Every baseball fan should go and watch a baseball game in Japan at least once. It is unbelievably fun!

I used to love this show as a kid and I remember well getting up in the morning, watching it, then grabbing my glove and bat and running to the school yard to meet friends and try implementing what I learned on the show.

This is a very cool video. There is very little out there on Japanese baseball in terms of US media coverage... let alone in 1981! I wish MLB network would show the occasional NPB game sort of like the NHL Network shows the occasional European hockey game

I wish these episodes were available complete on DVD. Such a treat to see after all these years! My ten year old self use to watch this on Saturday mornings, then walk down the park and play. Thank you so VERY much

Just my opinion, but Lasorda was baseball's best ambassador. Rip, Tommy, forever Dodger Blue.

Cooperstown needs to change the rules and let Sadaharu Oh in. Maybe alongside Ichiro when it's his turn.

Ichiro will get in regardless. He has over 3000 MLB hits, and set single season hit records as a Mariner.

The blonde kid is basically the typical biased American stereotype, if we never seen them in the US then they not good.
