    I like your videos with a drone that gives an overview of where one moves. You were driving a bit fast and unexpected things happen all the time with such an unclear traffic picture, be careful since nothing changes if you arrive 5 minutes later.

      Traffic speeds are pretty low actually. Especially compared to the west. It looks like I’m going faster than I am.

    nice ride through dumeguete. I've seen this town so many times, I can almost believe I was there before. watched for about a year of vloggers talking about duma, mainly Old Dog, and thought I'd enjoy being there. however, after talking to my daughter in-law and finding your channel, I decided on cebu for my initial landing spot. I will eventually come and visit duma, along with other parts of the philippines. however, I prefer the luxuries of condo living, not renting a house or an apartment. was wondering if Jo's back gets sunburned being on the bike.

    I like this format, explaining the what & where while traveling. I also really like that 360 camera you got and it's post-editing capability it has like changing the viewpoint to show different views recorded during the trip (front and back traffic) without having to physically move the camera. That camera's exposure is perfect, even when the sun is in the frame--a lot of cameras do poorly with that.

    I can tell by the drive.... The riding there is a lot like it was when I would ride in Juarez Mexico. You really have to have so strong riding skills and sharp attention for someone else to make a bad move and you would need to react. Even the rodes remind me of Mexico.

      Unfortunately ya only need one reckless rider/driver and your toast, that’s why I prefer to drive as you have that tin box as protection. Also out of the blue, you’ll find something randomly in the road ..I was travailing by car about 6 months ago…on a three highway road and out of the blue there was a guy sitting in the middle of the road ..traffic 80kph…jeez he obviously had mental problems. On a bike your toast …

    I was totally shocked that all roads including the national highway have intersections without traffic lights. After a few days I saw that I worked and realized the city would come to a standstill if there were traffic lights. I still couldn’t imagine myself riding a bike in that 5 o’clock traffic.

    • @CarefreeChris
      @CarefreeChris  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s pretty busy. We have been on the road a couple times and there was quite a bit of traffic. This ride being a Sunday it was pretty quiet though.

    • @1100_Rebels
      @1100_Rebels 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Manila and Cebu City have a lot of traffic lights. Smaller towns don't. Instead, there are "traffic aids", guys who try to do what traffic lights do. If you encounter a traffic jam, chances are high, that a traffic aid is the cause. Without him, traffic would go smoothly 90 % of the time.
      This is the life here: Why to make it easy, if you can make it complicated, LOL. But I love it nevertheless.
