I bible journal in many ways and do not cover the words. I do have 2in margins which I use. I use pockets, flips, insert extra pages, use journals, cards on rings, roll a dex cards.... so many ways. I also have only one bible I use for both study and journaling. The best part of bible journaling is that is has so many options for faith and personal creativity.❤
This is so cute and such a great idea. I love your suggestion to fill up a Bible journal with God’s promises. Your suggestion also got me thinking that we could also journal prayer requests and how God has answered them or just favorite Scripture. I love Jesus's parables and I think it would be so much fun to journal them. There are so many possibilities! It worked well with it. I didn’t have any problems, it crinkled a bit when dry but it does that in the Bible too. The notebook I think would need something heavy on it for a while to get the crinkles out where the Illustrating Bible is so heavy it does that itself.

So good. Was the travel notebook okay with wet media?
