I made this for breakfast this morning. It’s a great down-to-earth hearty dish. I added some chopped bell pepper that I needed to use up. I shall definitely use this recipe again, perhaps adding cumin and/or fennel seeds or celery seeds to add more layers of flavour. It’s a good sturdy basic recipe that one can experiment with. Also, I thought of putting a bit of Camembert in the middle to see if I can get it to melt nicely. One could add other finely chopped vegetables too.

مثلا ملفوف على بطاطه وبيض ...وتقدري تضيفيه في صلصه المكرونه يطلع فضيع ملفوف وبصل بادقيق الحمص وتقليهم اكثر من رائع تسلقي الملفوف وتحشيه ارز ودقيه وتلفيه ويصير مثل الدولمه العراقيه

I loved the presentation. This recipe is definitely something I am going to try. Its so simple and a recipe that can be easily adapted to be gluten free! I love potatoes and cabbage .I have never had them cooked together like this!

I'm always looking for new ways to do eggs as they are one of my favorite foods. I make something like this only with tomatoes and cheese instead of cabbage. But the cabbage is a great idea.I will try this for lunch tomorrow. Thank you.

As it turns out, I just bought a 5 lb bag of russet potatoes and a large cabbage. All the rest were already in my pantry so I'm DEFINITELY going to try this recipe. I never thought of using these ingredients in this way. It's not really an omellete. It's more like a PATTY of potatoe and cabbage. But it looks delicious. Thank you.

I tried this, but I've got no seeds or parsley. I also added finely cubed carrot, chopped garlic and ginger. Didn't have mozzarella, so used grated cheddar. It is delicious hot or cold, with a thin smear of sweet chilli dipping sauce and tomato ketchup. Thank-you for the inspiration :-)
