Thanks, It worked like a charm. I also followed your instructions on unlock and twrp. One note from me I have a new Ryzen from AMD and I had problem with connecting to my phone. Unlock somehow worked after many many tries of installing/unistalling and rebooting, still... fastboot usb connection was not very stable and for twrp I had to finaly use other "intel" laptop that worked first time no problem. After that everything went smooth for me. I am now on pixel experience rom and so far very stable and everything I use is working.

@Imagine Sayfuo it works but download files from your PC not in your mobile I downloaded from mobile then I removed my operating system the zip files I downloaded we're corrupt so download from your PC and copy them to ur mobile if u removed ur operating system u cannot go back unless u hv backuped ur miui rom

Latest vendor and firmware binaries will run any older version of the rom , but it’s recommend to install latest build of the rom .
2) it depends, if the new update of the rom needs the latest vendor / firmware then you have to first update the base system then update the rom . No data will be lost in doing so.

It depends suppose if you are running older vendor and firmware and installing latest custom based on new vendor and firmware then you need to update it first.

As of know 9.1.17 or higher should work with latest pixel rom.

hey bro Itried to install crdroid on my poco I did the exact same things as u did installed the latest firmware and after that I flashed crdroid rom it showed me error 7 why any fixes

One doubt, every time I update the rom(lineage OS) it enters into a bootloop. Only way out of it is to do a clean installation, I'm not able to do a dirty flash.
Is this something to do with the encryption. Every time I boot into TWRP it asks for the pattern to decrypt the data. So, how do I solve this?
well before booting to TWRP remove your lockscreen passwords and TWRP won't prompt you to enter any password if you do it and still TWRP asks for a password this means your whole "Data" partition is encrypted, you will need to Format Data on TWRP, if the password thingy annoys you that much.

@@surajsuresh7594 make sure you are on latest vendor and also make sure to flash magisk Uninstaller Zip if you have magisk installed. that's the reason for your bootloop.

No bricking although if you have bricked your phone Their is a fix for that.

Yes but you can always flash the stock miui and lock the boot loader to get your warranty back again.

Hey bro I installed EU Rom it works but When I restart or turn off my cellphone and when I turn On my cellphone it stuck on boot Logo. And when I started wiping the dalvik and cache it continue to boot smoothly. How to fix that? Please help, Do I really need to wipe dalvik and cache to boot my cellphone if I turn off or restart my phone?

Newer builds of custom roms requires newer vendor and firmware sometimes it need developer rom vendor and firmware
I want to flash pixel on poco F1 running MIUI 12.0.3.0 , so I have downloaded the firmware file but is vendor file a diffrent thing or they come together? And also is decrypting the phone necessary?
Last Time I didn't do any firmware flashing I flashed rom but no error 7 was there , the flash said it was successful but I was stuck on Google logo.
Don't we have to flash the DFE after updating the Vendor-Firmware to prevent encryption?

Hi, I like your videos. I have a question about poco F1: I'm using Pixel Experience ROM. I followed your steps everything is working. The developer released a new update for the ROM. It requires me to update the vendor firmware to 9.2.15. I think I'm on 9.1.15. How should I update it? Should I dirty flash the vendor firmware file? And then install the update? I don't want to lose the data.
Dirty flash no problem at all.
Update the vendor and firmware then flash rom
Then wipe only dalvik and cache.
@@kskroyaltech Thanks, I did it. I didn't wipe the dalvik and cache. Just a tip for other people if they are going to update this ROM. Don't forget to turn off all the magisk modules. If you don't do that you will end up in a boot loop and you would have to flash the magisk uninstaller.
Thanks for this brilliant tutorial. I have updated the poco f1 to firmware 10.3.8.0, but my bootloader is still locked. My first question is when I finally do unlock the bootloader, will it erase the latest firmware update and reset to the factory one that came with the phone?

Is there a problem with the official TWRP? Everytime I flash a new ROM I have to flash the disable force encryption file... Or else the phone boots up and starts encryption process after flashing the ROM
According to official documentation: This build of TWRP will (probably) only work with devices using Full Disk Encryption (FDE) and may not work with devices that have been converted to File Based Encryption (FBE). FBE support may be added at a later date.
DFE can be flashed every time if you are installing new custom rom. It’s optional.
But but if you are flashing one rom over another rom make sure that you have removed all the lock screen assets and sign out from google account .

Dont you need disable force encryption after flashing any rom?
it's for the twrp recovery not for the rom. It's not necessary but recommended

Hello, this is probably a noob question but when I tried to dirty flash the latest ROM, TWRP would not let me past the pattern reader. Even when I deleted the password, TWRP still asked me for a password. Hitting "Cancel" would get me past that stage but TWRP would then fail to load the onboard storage and I would not be able to see the downloaded ROM.
Obviously I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure out what. Would really love a video on how to dirty flash an update.
Try entering your patter which you must have used earlier if that doesn't work and if you only have option for pin then according to your pattern enter the numbers from your keypad

A little help, after flashing my phone never boots. No even the boot animation. It just boots back to recovery always. No matter what I do. Any help would be really appreciated. All I can do is use MIUI nothing else. I am flashing RR ROM with gapps Pico.

hi, I did all of the steps (Unlocked BOOTLOADER\Custom TWRP recovery...) and installed pixel rom. after everything is done phone worked perfectly with pixel rom. then I update the rom with ota and after phone restart touch does not work anymore. now my phone is in the repair shop and they changing the touch screen hardware. what was the problem??
