I dont mind some other actor playing Kang since he is a multiversal character, but Jonathan majors should appear in kang dynasty. It would be injustice to just throw him out of the picture..

When people say an actor is "born to play" someone, that's because that actor is the first, best, or only person to have played that role. "Being born to" is just an illusion.

Here's the thing about Loki in the BIG chair, holding all the timelines. He doesn't NEED to leave the chair. He can project himself into the various timelines, while remaining IN the chair. The problem being, he himself may not be able to directly affect events, but he can influence things, talk to people, give them a little guidance, a little push here and there.
Jonathan majors has literally been so entertaining to watch. He was the best part of ant man. Was excited to see him be kang cuz there’s so many sides to him. It kinda sucks he’s getting recast. Fr been the best part of phase 5
I agree with most that they can use Kang Dynasty to introduce Doom since he was referenced in Black Panther 2 as the one behind searching for the Vibranium. Doom could easily use the time gap in blip to show how he grew to power and used Sharon Carter, as the Broker, for tech and information. Through Sharon Doom got a bunch of Tech from Stark Industries and a version of the super-soldier serum. Doom prolly did his research while half the world was gone, including the guardian of the the Library of Cagliostro, so it would have been easy to just go in and learn what ever he wanted since O-Bengh was snapped. Might have even too a look that the Dark Hold during the 5 years. Techno-Magic Genius Super-Soldier might just learn to take out all the Kangs by obliterating their pocket dimension all at once or just hacking the Time-platforms of all the Kangs to simply disintegrate them when they leave the pocket dimension, trapping them there or dying. Then you can recast young Victor Timely (teen from 1800s) as the only survivor to eventually be Iron Lad being a part of the Iron Wars or adopted brother of Iron Heart. Leaving the door open to use or not use Majors in like 10 years when people forgive him if he is found "not guilty." I mean RDJ was in a bunch of trouble in his youth. If RDJ was doing the stuff he did now, he would might be cancelled as Iron Man too. My top choices for Doom? Marcin Dorocinski, Joel Kinnaman, Alexander Skarsgard, or even Nikolaj William Coster-Waldau. King Slayer to destroy all the Kangs. I like that irony.

It took about 10 years for Robert Downey Jr. to get cast by Marvel in Iron Man after his Driving Under the Influence and in possession of Heroine, crack, and a .357 Magnum in 1996. @@thereallightwarrior906Definitely true! Though RDJ’s personality is basically already extremely similar to Iron Man’s. He basically was just acting like himself (not a bad thing, he was perfect for the role). Tom Hiddleston brings a little more depth imho for Loki.
Oh without a doubt, the best development arc Marvel has. What I really love about it all too, is that Loki really was destined to Rule. He just had to change his outlook on what it meant to Rule. Loki as we met him in Thor 1, arrogant and believed he was best suited for the throne right then and there despite how he only ever thought that ruling meant being showered with glory and given the power to do whatever he wanted. We also see how Loki at this point in his development would rule Asgard in Thor 3, when he is pretending to be Odin. Laying around and eating grapes watching plays that elevate and exaggerate his actions in Thor 1 and 2 making himself sound noble. It isn't until near the end of Thor 3 where we see change in his character truly begin. Where he sees the pattern of failure he kept falling in, and decided to start making a change. Being there for and with Thor, willing to help fight and protect innocent Asgardians from a threat he knows he can't beat even with his brother's help. All be it, he went about doing all of that in his still very much overly confident and Savior Complex way that only be described as, Loki being Loki. And then, it all ends when Thanos chokes the life out of him. Where in the Sacred Time Line, all Loki's are destined to end up. But, as we see in the show, if Loki is allowed to continue his change by being there with and for people he cares about, he truly becomes worthy because he stopped viewing the idea of Ruling from the lense of a child. He learned, to truly Rule, is to bear incredible burden. There is no glory in Ruling. Just one's chosen Burden that they must bear for the good of their people. In his case, Loki chose to make everyone in the multiverse his people, and thus accepted the Burden of maintaining their home Time Lines so they can continue to live happily and prepare for the coming storm all at the expense to himself. Not to dissimilar to the main idea behind Spider-Man. With Great Power, there must also come Great Responsibility.

I like the idea of Dr. Doom observing how Kang used technology and genius to control time and even the multiverse, and how Loki used magic, wit, and his natural power to do the same. He will see how they failed because they could not acknowledge the strength of their opponents. Doom decides he will use both.
@@westside9032 Doom usually allows himself to be defeated so he can learn things, and when he does win, he usually ends up saving the human race from extinction. Case in point, at the end of the original secret wars Doom had effectively won the whole thing. He had the power of the Beyonder and had all the heroes and villains at his mercy, he could literally have conquered the universe with ease. Then he simply chose to give up the power. And in the wake of the Incursions he was the only one who clued in on what was really going on, took the fight to the beyonders, and with the help of the Molecule Man destroyed them. He then used the powers to fuse together the remaining shards of the multiverse into one world, to ensure the survival of humanity. Then when the 616 Reed Richards resurfaced, Doom willingly admitted that he lacked the creativity to reboot the universe (something that is very hard for Doom to admit to Reed, as Mr. Fantastic is literally the only person that Doom truly hates), and asked for Reed's help in recreating the universe. This is also one of the reasons why the Fox F4 movies floundered and failed, they put Doom's motivation as "lol, evil" instead of what it actually is: The desire to protect humanity at any cost, and that includes offshoots such as the mutants and the Atlanteans. 616 comics Doom is utterly convinced that he is the one who is most capable of protecting humanity, and the scary part is, it has been heavily implied, if not outright shown, that he is absolutely correct. Doom does, what Doom does, because it is necessary.

Dr. Doom wants to protect humanity at any cost, and is willing to go to any length to do so, while 616 comics Thanos's sole motivation has always been to impress Mistress Death. And Thanos has won, multiple times, and succeeded in his goal to wipe out half of all life (and in one instance, all life except himself, Mistress Death, and Rick Jones), and only once has he given up the power willingly. And that we when Mistress Death turned her back on him after he killed, EVERYONE, but her, himself, and as I mentioned, Mr. Jones. My primary gripe with the infinity saga in the MCU was that Thanos's Necro-Romantic issues were completely ignored, which is unfortunate as his obsession with the literal personification of death adds considerable depth to his character.
Johnathan Majors is one of the main characters that made Loki so successful, he is such a very skilled actor.. one of those actors that draws you in! If he's innocent, they should NOT recast him.. just finish his contributions, like they did with Thanos.. and move on with dr. Doom or Mephisto or any big villain.. loove Ms. Minutes too!! And Tom Hiddleston😍 love him from Avengers 1.. Then Mobius, Silvie..!! Majors did such a great job as He Who Remains / Kang. It's unfortunate that we won't see the full realization of that character with him. If Downey Jr had his drug issues publicized during the time of Iron Man instead of years prior, we would not have seen Downey Jr kill it as Iron Man. Let's just hope this next phases are redemptive. Right now, the only thing saving the MCU so far is Guardians of the Galaxy v3 and Loki Season 2. They were successful because they were contained. The other productions were all about connecting the dots to the bigger picture of the MCU, which is great, as long as it is delivered well. Secret Invasion started off strong, but ended weak. To see Agent Hill get killed, I thought the stakes would be much higher, but then it ended with a suped up Emilia Clarke character that could take on the entire current MCU hero lineup. And I watched the marvels hoping for the best after knowing it's horrible box office return. We didn't need that Korean prince side-arc in the movie, but I guess you have to appease the Asia market by including some famous random Asian actor because Asia is a big financial resource. All the best for Deadpool 3.

Doesn't matter whether or not he's innocent just ask Johnny Depp. Plus it appears that the people who are overseeing the case have it out for him anyway. People really don't understand that there's a difference between being white and black especially depending on where you are. Plus we live in America the moment a woman drops an allegation is immediately taken as true. I think it’s about 50-50 due to the fact at least one of the people they came forward was lying. But this isn’t that person. I also think it’s suspect as soon as he blows up people come forward. It’s just highley questionable. But the court will decide. But he is innocent until proven guilty
@@davien001 I think that was kinda like in the other movies where he could project illusions of himself to walk, talk and mislead, but only the original was actually solid. Multiverse of Madness introduced ' dream walking' into other universes though, so God of Stories Loki could, theoretically, take over the body (living or dead) of any of his variants. He's got plenty to choose from so they could even use the concept for comedic effect and speed run killing an army of Kangs with an army of Lokis, leaving just the main threat for the core cast to finish off.
I really hope they use Kang dynasty to introduce Doom. The Kang vs. Doom storyline can set up how powerful Doom becomes. They can use flash backs of Doom to explain. / retrofit Doom and his story. Having Doom become the center piece Secret Wars and then propelled him into the next phase. Since Magic is part of Doom. It would be natural to have him cross paths with Dr. Strange who has a movie in the pipeline. Fox universe has already established Doom's origin. So the other movies can retro fit him as needed. Doom v vs. Strange then Doom beats Kang then Avengers level battle in Secret Wars. O Marvel just come and take my money....❤
Didn't He Who Remains want Loki alone at the end of time, on the throne running everything? And, he said that his variants would be out there starting a multiversal war? All that's still happening. So, did Loki really win or outsmart HWR? It's not exactlyhow he wanted it but HWR got whathe wanted. Also, I think it's funny that they made a couple money moves in the 90s and now it took them 15-20 years and billions of dollars to get close to a 616 looking universe where they can use all the characters. I don't see how they're going to develop a character like Doom that quickly. Like I said, panic move and it won't work out. Panicking never does.

After how Loki season 2 ended I wonder what season 3 would be about, considering they are planning to remove Kang as the main big villain. I do like the idea of Dr. Doom possibly taking Kang’s spot. But it sucks that Kang is getting screwed over. I personally feel that it is already too late to change the story, when they had already put a lot of focus on Kang and specially naming Avenger 5 “Kang Dynasty.”
Man I’ll be really bummed and disappointed if Kang really does end up getting recasted!! I’ve enjoyed seeing Jonathan Majors as Kang a lot!! I really liked the Victor Timely version of Kang a lot! He was really cool and fun!! He’s such a phenomenal, amazing actor!! He doesn’t deserve what’s happened to him. If Jonathan really does get booted out as Kang, I really hope a phenomenal actor like him & possibly one I know becomes Kang!! I could now kind of imagine a 3rd season of Loki happening after secret wars. Even possibly during phase 7. That would be really interesting and cool!! Maybe Loki going around to stabilise the Multiverse and maybe even interacting with new characters!! Lots of parts to the MCU I can’t wait for in the future!! While I’d agree that recasting him this far out would suck, I wouldn’t say it’s undeserved. (If true) any guy who physically assaults women deserves to be in jail imho. I’m hoping that they don’t recast him completely and after Kang Dynasty, they shift over to Doctor Doom

Marvel should've just did doctor doom first, then led up to God emperor doom in secret wars. Then, after soft rebooting the universe, they would be able to introduce Kang properly since they could now sprinkle him in the new mcu throughout the timeline. It would also give us a chance to meet Iron Lad just for him to eventually betray us. But it would have a bigger impact because we would've grown with him.
As much as we need more Loki, I can understand the want to close the book on him. It was probably the most perfect ending and project of any MCU property.
The reason loki didn’t kill the kangs is for the same reason the tva stopped pruning entire timelines in loki season 2. Until the kangs make a bad or evil decision their variants have no reason to be killed by the good guys. This also opens the door for marvel to cast iron lad, young kang. Then when the time is right they can either bring Jonathan majors back or recast him based on iron lad. Continuing the kang storyline from right where they left off or with changes.
I think it makes perfect sense to use Kang as the Beyonders that start their own war, use Dr Doom as Dr Doom and let him be the one to step in and wipe out the Kangs just as the Kangs and Avengers finish their fight, and lead into a proper Secret Wars with God Emperor Doom ruling over Battle World and let Loki be the Ark/ original Beyonder that pulls everyone from their timelines to fight the multiversal war
That'll be a real bummer if they recast for Kang. I think Majors knocks the role out of the park. However, I would rather see them recast than dismiss Kang entirely and just rush Doom in as a replacement. Hell, I'd rather see a hard reboot than that.
Considering the complexity of writing a good story around Kang, and his time jumping, it'd be better for continuity if ever scene Kang looked the same given they'll use scenes or memories or time jumps from Loki and Ant Man Q.
I like the idea someone put out there of going with an older Kang, and cast Denzel Washington. (The idea was that this older Kang sat back and watched the others pick each other off, and then, finished off the last of them.). Based on his Equalizer work, I think he could be a much more intense version of Kang. Besides, he received an Oscar for playing a villain. (Training Day). He has great breadth.
I really wish Marvel wouldn’t drive every movie based on what they think will earn the maximum amount of money. Just tell a good story and take a risk or 2. When you only focus on the maximum amount of money your stories end up being bland and confused. Movies/films should be an art form designed to tell a story. Not an investment that just ignores the content.
I dont think Loki sitting in the chair is why the branches don't die, I think all he has to do is hold onto them and enchant the branches. This means he could get off the chair, possibly using the branches as a weapon and form his own Stormbreaker. That would truly be Loki coming full circle.
So hyped for an S3. My wish is that they would refer to this Loki as the new Atlas (atla?) or he who remains ( the true one). Then in a future property have the TVA release Kid Loki from the void to join the Young Avengers , he grows into Avenger Prime and has to locate Loki (Tom Hiddelston, older and wiser now) and the remaining cosmic entities ( maybe Love in there as well) to grant him access to the "Library of Ideas". Thus becoming GoS Loki to help rebuild the multiverse in a future phase ending/starting property.
I want a scene in kang dynasty where kang is getting overwhelmed by the avengers and decides to bail and uses his tech to skip between time and as he does and we see the world around him changing through the past or future and the avengers disappear we just see Loki remain and while kangs tryna skip time lokis just walking up to him then they have a fight through time similar to the watchers fight with ultron through the multiverse

It could be a different variant of Loki that shows up later. If it is God of Stories Loki, than I really hope they show a big change in this Loki after having sat in a chair overseeing time for however long he does that. Otherwise, any weight that could be found in the end of Loki season 2 will be lost.
Some of us have been in similar situations as majors and by the looks of it the man truly does seem innocent. Disney got no back bone to throw out some talent over something that happens everyday in the world
I don't think Loki necessarly needs to get out of his chair to meet Thor... he's so powerful, he could just project himself into wherever he needs to be - like he did in Thor 3 when he visited Thor in the gladiator pit, only solid. There was a long explanation of different kinds of illusion in season 1 (just before they go to the apocalypse) and then a call back when Classic Loki says he cast an illusion of himself for Thanos to strangle. Given how strong Loki is now, doing something like that would be so easy...
In Marvel canon, anytime someone makes a decision it branches the timeline. Turn left or turn right. There's a "what if" universe where you did either. Loki can decide to leave his throne and then reconsider for the good of the multiverse. This would create a Loki right in front of him who decided to leave, while the other version is still on the throne. They both agree what needs to be done, and the walking Loki ventures out into an Avengers movie. And the Loki who leaves the throne would be much muchier than the Loki who escaped from Endgame with the space stone. He's got a few hundred years learning temporal physics from the nerds at the TVA, and however many billion years combined experience by holding all the time threads in place. This would be much more profound than the ranking up Doctor Strange did after examining 14 million possible futures. Loki would be many orders of magnitude more powerful than Thor Prime from Infinity War. More on par with Rune King Thor or possibly above. This would be a good reason for Loki to re-enter the MCU timeline. Ragnarok is starting up again and he needs Thor to stop it. He sets Thor on the path to becoming Rune King Thor, and gets him to take down They Who Sit Above In Shadows. Interweave it a bit better with the other MCU characters, kinda like Thor's mission to get the axe in Infinity War. He was on his own quest but still part of the team. Maybe bring a few Avengers with him and they get their own lesser versions of ranking up to Rune King Thor. Also a great excuse for Loki to pull a living Tony Stark out of a timeline where he's about to die anyway and get him back into the Avengers. Do that montage thing at the TVA to bring him up to speed on what our Tony Stark did in Endgame. And by all means get Luis from Ant-Man into this movie! How is he not working for the god of stories?
Just an idea of mine Kang Dynasty could be loose adaptation of Contest of Champions meets Dragon Ball Super Tournament of Power arc vibe. The Grandmaster and the Collector vs. Kang are the villains who agree to hold contest that will determine fate of all the multiverse and name winning team superior/the true champion of all the multiverse only one universe shall survive and the losing universes will be erased from existed thus causing incursion in all multiverse universes as a clean slate for next universes to be born for next contest of champions. Kang and his variants pick strongest versions of themselves against Grandmaster and Collectors champions from the multiverse which they ask for The Watcher assistance to help find their champions from multiverse who would stand a chance against Kang Dynasty in battle royale contest of champions thus explains why Fox Universe, Sony Spider Verse, MCU, and other past marvel live action or animated films/shows along with its characters come in. Grandmaster and Collector with Kang set rules for tournament for the fate of multiverse 1. Fighters remain in play even if rendered unconscious or unable to fight. A fighter is eliminated only when made to fall off of the fighting stage or when out of bounds. 2. Once a fighter has been knocked out of the ring they cannot return to the ring or directly attack the contestants currently in the arena. Anyone who attempts violating this rule will immediately be erased from existence. 3. The Universe with the most survivors by the end of the tournament will be the victor and the winners of the tournament universes along with its inhabitants are spared and will be declared the champions of multiverse. The losing team will no longer have any control or say in the fate of multiverse if losing team violates this agreement that team shall be erased in the incursion. Immortus, Rama Tut, Kang, and Scarlet Centurion along with mystery partner are remaining members left from their team. Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire), Captain America (Steve Rogers), Iron Man, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in the black suit, and Loki or who ever you want on the team are left fight. Doom from MCU is Kang Dynasty mystery partner (hes basically Frieza only doing it for himself) but betrays them by eliminating Rama Tut and Scarlet Centurion. Doom using Kang tech and his own sorcery decides become God Emperor Doom erases the battle world only leaving few survivors. Thinking he has won and doesn't have to play by the rules but the Watcher knows tournament isn't over yet this is only a warm up to come. The Watcher along with Strange Supreme look at each other knowing that a war is coming to decide the true winners of this game that Doom Kang Grandmaster and Collector are playing "Gods" and they are just pawns in coming secret wars.

Random prediction: since we’re doing alternate universes, the big bad of secret wars is a dark version of a character or group of characters we already have a strong attachment to. That way, they won’t need to spend as much time on developing them since we already know them.
Loki will create the battlegrounds and the secret war. He's probably going to talk to Kang and they agree on winner-takes-all all. Then Kang tries to double-cross Loki when he loses. this allows Loki to reach out to Thor to assemble the Avengers. Loki will probably play the role of the Beyonder in these movies. this will give Loki the great opportunity to bring back Ironman.
I think, with the Pedro Pascal announcement and post credit scenes from the marvels, that they are doing a redirect. They are going to focus on introducing the X-Men and the FF. Which will bring in Doom. Which will lead us to a different avengers movie before we get secret wars. I think we'll start to get drops of the beyonder(s), much like thanos before, and it will lead up to a two part secret wars where at the end, doom will have control of battleworld. These movies shouldn't have the avengers in their names. Should simply be "Marvel's Secret Wars 1 and 2" and "Marvel's Battleworld" While all of this is building up, spiderman and the other street level heroes are doing their things before being drawn into the larger stories in the big movies. I think a big part of the problem is that they can't figure out how to weave or build. Before, they were building a world while weaving a story that helped build the world. Now the world is kinda built, but they can still build it further if they remember how to weave a story with characters that people care about. Also...there is a term in baseball that I learned this year. Regression to the mean. Sometimes, a player performs greater than usual, or performs really good when they first get to the majors, but then they regress to the middle of the pack, still good, but nothing special. People get used to seeing their stuff. Casual fans start looking for the next big thing. I think we might be seeing that with comic book movies. Nerds know that Batman and Spiderman exist in different comic book realities, but casuals just see comic books and comic book movies, so marvel made some pretty big splashes and propped up the genre, but since endgame, comic book movies in general have regressed to the mean, the novelty isn't so novel anymore. Casual fans are looking for the next big thing. A million or so passionate fans can't hope to sustain the level of financial success that the studios now expect from big tent comic book movies and the casuals have kinda moved on.

I think they'll pull a rick and morty season 7 episode 5, and use a device that wipes all versions of Kang from existence. The use of this weapon would start secret wars, with a group made of spiderman and doc strange trying to stop the weapons use on a larger scale, and another group that wants to use it on more villains like thanos.

God of Time Loki discovering Kangs killing timelines to snuff alternate Avengers teams spurring Loki to see Thor (like Bruce did Strange in Infinity War) to put a team together (like Ragnarok)👍🏾👌🏾✊🏾🙏🏾 Meantime, the Kangs (somehow) entrust a defeated (from the 1st MCU Fantastic Four movie) Dr. Doom (like Thanos did to Loki for the Tesseract) to be their agent for this destruction. Doom betrays them, incursions occur & the the Multiverse is reduced to Battleworld = This all happens in Avengers 5: Secret Wars and is settled in Avengers 6: Avengers Forever!!!!
Making the Big Bad for the next Avengers doesn't preclude them using the council of Kangs for an ultimate baddy. They had Ultron, Ronin, and Loki all while Thanos was scheming in the background. They could do minimal Kang for a while and let Majors do other things for a while, just bringing him in for short scenes, post-credits and brief appearances that can all be shot in a day or two. Seems a Marvel thing to do to put everyone off and keep people guessing.
They shouldn't cancel Majors at all - he had an argument with his girlfriend? Don't we all have those kinds of tussles and frustrations? - I'm not sure how much damage occurred during the disagreement, but he's not even been found guilty!!!
Would be psyched to see Loki in the background holding the Marvel movie timeline squeezing the previous movie schedule, and installing what Marvel is changing! Like dissolving or pruning Kang Dynasty!
I’m hoping that Jonathan Majors beats his case because as much as I’m unfamiliar with Kang as the villain. Doom would be an exception considering that the fantastic four is coming soon and might be a connection to the next avengers if Doom is confirmed as the next big threat after Thanos.
Lucky to get Loki season 3... its been the tone marvel needs. I think in part why marvel has lost its momentum is because a lot of the generation that grew up watching it are young busy adults that have become busy with a new routine like my kids. I use to go to the movies with them to watch these movies... now I watch them by myself 🥺😭😭😭. Hopefully, this new tone sticks around... maybe they can get back some of thar old audience back. I feel what harmed the MCU was the silly tone it kept after the first GOTG. It worked with guardians well (them being my favorite) but not so well with others. Good thing marvel pays some attention to their fans and make some adjustments.
Here’s the pitch: Loki gains the cosmic knowledge from the tree to conquer Kang, where Odin and Thor loose an eye maybe Loki does too and/or once empowered he snaps off his own horn and turns it into a snake that eats its own tail once wrapped around all the branches and holds it freeing him to rise from his throne and find glorious purpose.
They should not replace or pivot away from Jonathan Majors. He's done a masterful job so far and I wanna see more from him. We haven't even got to see him with other characters and I was really looking forward to those exchanges
Will Disney and Marvel offer Hiddleston a lot of money to come back to play Loki? Of coarse. Silly question! The next two Avengers movies could be Secret Wars parts 1 and 2. It would make a lot of sense to do it that way. Filming two movies back to back can save money. Meanwhile...Gallactus is pacing back and forth wondering when he will appear. And thinking how can he stab Doom in the back, to get ahead of him in the MCU!
I’d love if in Kang Dynasty they set up the council of kangs and prime kang as this unbeatable force and then Dr Doom comes out of nowhere and obliterates them all and takes the beyonder kang’s powers. They could get into Doom’s origin in flash backs in Secret Wars or his own Film or show.
RDJ also had legal troubles in his past, but Marvel looked past that to cast him as the cornerstone of the Marvel universe “Ironman”. So why can’t they do the same for Jonathan? If Marvel recasts him, it’s a double standard.
I would personally wish that they could keep Jonathan Majors. I think it would be a slap in the face. I think when there is part 1 of Secret Wars the Beyonder (Kang Variant) should be villain then part 2 be Doctor Doom but if they recast Majors which I would absolutely hate. Then don’t do Beyonder at all and do Doctor Doom. Either way if you do Beyonder make him a Kang Variant.
Theory: god loki will project himself to the loki that prolly survived from thanos neck snap - then he does what hex vision did to white vision for him to catch up. Then, neck loki will have to help out.. but.. that theory has a lot of holes and problems that come along with it, like; 1) how do we know that neck loki indeed survived? 2) what happens if there's 2 lokis that the fans love, in this equation? I mean, loki dying is getting pretty old haha I just love it when writers write something that feels like a dead end, but they'll write up a twist that no one ever thinks of to resolve it.. then endings would still feel like the audience can speculate more.. seems like the formula nowadays, specially with K Drama series' 😂

He doesn't NEED to leave the chair.
He can project himself into the various timelines, while remaining IN the chair.
The problem being, he himself may not be able to directly affect events, but he can influence things, talk to people,

I agree with most that they can use Kang Dynasty to introduce Doom since he was referenced in Black Panther 2 as the one behind searching for the Vibranium. Doom could easily use the time gap in blip to show how he grew to power and used Sharon Carter, as the Broker, for tech and information. Through Sharon Doom got a bunch of Tech from Stark Industries and a version of the super-soldier serum. Doom prolly did his research while half the world was gone, including the guardian of the the Library of Cagliostro, so it would have been easy to just go in and learn what ever he wanted since O-Bengh was snapped. Might have even too a look that the Dark Hold during the 5 years. Techno-Magic Genius Super-Soldier might just learn to take out all the Kangs by obliterating their pocket dimension all at once or just hacking the Time-platforms of all the Kangs to simply disintegrate them when they leave the pocket dimension, trapping them there or dying. Then you can recast young Victor Timely (teen from 1800s) as the only survivor to eventually be Iron Lad being a part of the Iron Wars or adopted brother of Iron Heart. Leaving the door open to use or not use Majors in like 10 years when people forgive him if he is found "not guilty." I mean RDJ was in a bunch of trouble in his youth. If RDJ was doing the stuff he did now, he would might be cancelled as Iron Man too. My top choices for Doom? Marcin Dorocinski, Joel Kinnaman, Alexander Skarsgard, or even Nikolaj William Coster-Waldau. King Slayer to destroy all the Kangs. I like that irony.

Oh without a doubt, the best development arc Marvel has. What I really love about it all too, is that Loki really was destined to Rule. He just had to change his outlook on what it meant to Rule.
Loki as we met him in Thor 1, arrogant and believed he was best suited for the throne right then and there despite how he only ever thought that ruling meant being showered with glory and given the power to do whatever he wanted. We also see how Loki at this point in his development would rule Asgard in Thor 3, when he is pretending to be Odin. Laying around and eating grapes watching plays that elevate and exaggerate his actions in Thor 1 and 2 making himself sound noble. It isn't until near the end of Thor 3 where we see change in his character truly begin. Where he sees the pattern of failure he kept falling in, and decided to start making a change. Being there for and with Thor, willing to help fight and protect innocent Asgardians from a threat he knows he can't beat even with his brother's help. All be it, he went about doing all of that in his still very much overly confident and Savior Complex way that only be described as, Loki being Loki. And then, it all ends when Thanos chokes the life out of him. Where in the Sacred Time Line, all Loki's are destined to end up. But, as we see in the show, if Loki is allowed to continue his change by being there with and for people he cares about, he truly becomes worthy because he stopped viewing the idea of Ruling from the lense of a child. He learned, to truly Rule, is to bear incredible burden. There is no glory in Ruling. Just one's chosen Burden that they must bear for the good of their people. In his case, Loki chose to make everyone in the multiverse his people, and thus accepted the Burden of maintaining their home Time Lines so they can continue to live happily and prepare for the coming storm all at the expense to himself. Not to dissimilar to the main idea behind Spider-Man. With Great Power, there must also come Great Responsibility.
Recasting Majors is the biggest mistake they could make. We will see if it happens.

I like the idea of Dr. Doom observing how Kang used technology and genius to control time and even the multiverse, and how Loki used magic, wit, and his natural power to do the same.
He will see how they failed because they could not acknowledge the strength of their opponents. Doom decides he will use both.

And in the wake of the Incursions he was the only one who clued in on what was really going on, took the fight to the beyonders, and with the help of the Molecule Man destroyed them. He then used the powers to fuse together the remaining shards of the multiverse into one world, to ensure the survival of humanity. Then when the 616 Reed Richards resurfaced, Doom willingly admitted that he lacked the creativity to reboot the universe (something that is very hard for Doom to admit to Reed, as Mr. Fantastic is literally the only person that Doom truly hates), and asked for Reed's help in recreating the universe.
This is also one of the reasons why the Fox F4 movies floundered and failed, they put Doom's motivation as "lol, evil" instead of what it actually is: The desire to protect humanity at any cost, and that includes offshoots such as the mutants and the Atlanteans. 616 comics Doom is utterly convinced that he is the one who is most capable of protecting humanity, and the scary part is, it has been heavily implied, if not outright shown, that he is absolutely correct. Doom does, what Doom does, because it is necessary.

Dr. Doom wants to protect humanity at any cost, and is willing to go to any length to do so, while 616 comics Thanos's sole motivation has always been to impress Mistress Death. And Thanos has won, multiple times, and succeeded in his goal to wipe out half of all life (and in one instance, all life except himself, Mistress Death, and Rick Jones), and only once has he given up the power willingly. And that we when Mistress Death turned her back on him after he killed, EVERYONE, but her, himself, and as I mentioned, Mr. Jones. My primary gripe with the infinity saga in the MCU was that Thanos's Necro-Romantic issues were completely ignored, which is unfortunate as his obsession with the literal personification of death adds considerable depth to his character.

Majors did such a great job as He Who Remains / Kang. It's unfortunate that we won't see the full realization of that character with him. If Downey Jr had his drug issues publicized during the time of Iron Man instead of years prior, we would not have seen Downey Jr kill it as Iron Man. Let's just hope this next phases are redemptive. Right now, the only thing saving the MCU so far is Guardians of the Galaxy v3 and Loki Season 2. They were successful because they were contained. The other productions were all about connecting the dots to the bigger picture of the MCU, which is great, as long as it is delivered well. Secret Invasion started off strong, but ended weak. To see Agent Hill get killed, I thought the stakes would be much higher, but then it ended with a suped up Emilia Clarke character that could take on the entire current MCU hero lineup. And I watched the marvels hoping for the best after knowing it's horrible box office return. We didn't need that Korean prince side-arc in the movie, but I guess you have to appease the Asia market by including some famous random Asian actor because Asia is a big financial resource. All the best for Deadpool 3.

@@davien001 I think that was kinda like in the other movies where he could project illusions of himself to walk, talk and mislead, but only the original was actually solid. Multiverse of Madness introduced ' dream walking' into other universes though, so God of Stories Loki could, theoretically, take over the body (living or dead) of any of his variants. He's got plenty to choose from so they could even use the concept for comedic effect and speed run killing an army of Kangs with an army of Lokis, leaving just the main threat for the core cast to finish off.
I really hope they use Kang dynasty to introduce Doom. The Kang vs. Doom storyline can set up how powerful Doom becomes. They can use flash backs of Doom to explain. / retrofit Doom and his story. Having Doom become the center piece Secret Wars and then propelled him into the next phase. Since Magic is part of Doom. It would be natural to have him cross paths with Dr. Strange who has a movie in the pipeline. Fox universe has already established Doom's origin. So the other movies can retro fit him as needed. Doom v vs. Strange then Doom beats Kang then Avengers level battle in Secret Wars. O Marvel just come and take my money....❤
Didn't He Who Remains want Loki alone at the end of time, on the throne running everything? And, he said that his variants would be out there starting a multiversal war? All that's still happening. So, did Loki really win or outsmart HWR? It's not exactlyhow he wanted it but HWR got whathe wanted. Also, I think it's funny that they made a couple money moves in the 90s and now it took them 15-20 years and billions of dollars to get close to a 616 looking universe where they can use all the characters. I don't see how they're going to develop a character like Doom that quickly. Like I said, panic move and it won't work out. Panicking never does.
I think He Who Remains wanted Loki ruling specifically at the end of time for the Sacred Timeline where all the other timelines are pruned.

After how Loki season 2 ended I wonder what season 3 would be about, considering they are planning to remove Kang as the main big villain. I do like the idea of Dr. Doom possibly taking Kang’s spot. But it sucks that Kang is getting screwed over. I personally feel that it is already too late to change the story, when they had already put a lot of focus on Kang and specially naming Avenger 5 “Kang Dynasty.”

Man I’ll be really bummed and disappointed if Kang really does end up getting recasted!! I’ve enjoyed seeing Jonathan Majors as Kang a lot!! I really liked the Victor Timely version of Kang a lot! He was really cool and fun!! He’s such a phenomenal, amazing actor!! He doesn’t deserve what’s happened to him. If Jonathan really does get booted out as Kang, I really hope a phenomenal actor like him & possibly one I know becomes Kang!! Marvel should've just did doctor doom first, then led up to God emperor doom in secret wars. Then, after soft rebooting the universe, they would be able to introduce Kang properly since they could now sprinkle him in the new mcu throughout the timeline. It would also give us a chance to meet Iron Lad just for him to eventually betray us. But it would have a bigger impact because we would've grown with him.
As much as we need more Loki, I can understand the want to close the book on him. It was probably the most perfect ending and project of any MCU property.

This new loki needs to meet thor almost as much as wolverine needs to appear with deadpool.
The reason loki didn’t kill the kangs is for the same reason the tva stopped pruning entire timelines in loki season 2. Until the kangs make a bad or evil decision their variants have no reason to be killed by the good guys.
This also opens the door for marvel to cast iron lad, young kang.
Then when the time is right they can either bring Jonathan majors back or recast him based on iron lad. Continuing the kang storyline from right where they left off or with changes.
I think it makes perfect sense to use Kang as the Beyonders that start their own war, use Dr Doom as Dr Doom and let him be the one to step in and wipe out the Kangs just as the Kangs and Avengers finish their fight, and lead into a proper Secret Wars with God Emperor Doom ruling over Battle World and let Loki be the Ark/ original Beyonder that pulls everyone from their timelines to fight the multiversal war

That'll be a real bummer if they recast for Kang. I think Majors knocks the role out of the park. However, I would rather see them recast than dismiss Kang entirely and just rush Doom in as a replacement. Hell, I'd rather see a hard reboot than that.

Considering the complexity of writing a good story around Kang, and his time jumping, it'd be better for continuity if ever scene Kang looked the same given they'll use scenes or memories or time jumps from Loki and Ant Man Q.
I like the idea someone put out there of going with an older Kang, and cast Denzel Washington. (The idea was that this older Kang sat back and watched the others pick each other off, and then, finished off the last of them.). Based on his Equalizer work, I think he could be a much more intense version of Kang. Besides, he received an Oscar for playing a villain. (Training Day). He has great breadth.

I really wish Marvel wouldn’t drive every movie based on what they think will earn the maximum amount of money. Just tell a good story and take a risk or 2. When you only focus on the maximum amount of money your stories end up being bland and confused. Movies/films should be an art form designed to tell a story. Not an investment that just ignores the content.
I dont think Loki sitting in the chair is why the branches don't die, I think all he has to do is hold onto them and enchant the branches. This means he could get off the chair, possibly using the branches as a weapon and form his own Stormbreaker. That would truly be Loki coming full circle.
So hyped for an S3. My wish is that they would refer to this Loki as the new Atlas (atla?) or he who remains ( the true one). Then in a future property have the TVA release Kid Loki from the void to join the Young Avengers , he grows into Avenger Prime and has to locate Loki (Tom Hiddelston, older and wiser now) and the remaining cosmic entities ( maybe Love in there as well) to grant him access to the "Library of Ideas". Thus becoming GoS Loki to help rebuild the multiverse in a future phase ending/starting property.

I want a scene in kang dynasty where kang is getting overwhelmed by the avengers and decides to bail and uses his tech to skip between time and as he does and we see the world around him changing through the past or future and the avengers disappear we just see Loki remain and while kangs tryna skip time lokis just walking up to him then they have a fight through time similar to the watchers fight with ultron through the multiverse
truly thank you Charlie for making this video, and honestly if Jonathan Majors is innocent, they shouldn't even recast Kang the conqueror at all, i think it will be a brutal mistake if they do this, he made the character actually special because of his voice, Kang Dynasty was made for Kang the conqueror, they shouldn't even introduce Doctor Doom since they never had him appear in the MCU

If it is God of Stories Loki, than I really hope they show a big change in this Loki after having sat in a chair overseeing time for however long he does that. Otherwise, any weight that could be found in the end of Loki season 2 will be lost.
Some of us have been in similar situations as majors and by the looks of it the man truly does seem innocent. Disney got no back bone to throw out some talent over something that happens everyday in the world
I don't think Loki necessarly needs to get out of his chair to meet Thor... he's so powerful, he could just project himself into wherever he needs to be - like he did in Thor 3 when he visited Thor in the gladiator pit, only solid. There was a long explanation of different kinds of illusion in season 1 (just before they go to the apocalypse) and then a call back when Classic Loki says he cast an illusion of himself for Thanos to strangle. Given how strong Loki is now, doing something like that would be so easy...
Loki and Deadpool together , now that would be a dream come true.
In Marvel canon, anytime someone makes a decision it branches the timeline. Turn left or turn right. There's a "what if" universe where you did either.
Loki can decide to leave his throne and then reconsider for the good of the multiverse. This would create a Loki right in front of him who decided to leave, while the other version is still on the throne. They both agree what needs to be done, and the walking Loki ventures out into an Avengers movie.
And the Loki who leaves the throne would be much muchier than the Loki who escaped from Endgame with the space stone. He's got a few hundred years learning temporal physics from the nerds at the TVA, and however many billion years combined experience by holding all the time threads in place.
This would be much more profound than the ranking up Doctor Strange did after examining 14 million possible futures. Loki would be many orders of magnitude more powerful than Thor Prime from Infinity War. More on par with Rune King Thor or possibly above.
This would be a good reason for Loki to re-enter the MCU timeline. Ragnarok is starting up again and he needs Thor to stop it. He sets Thor on the path to becoming Rune King Thor, and gets him to take down They Who Sit Above In Shadows.
Interweave it a bit better with the other MCU characters, kinda like Thor's mission to get the axe in Infinity War. He was on his own quest but still part of the team.
Maybe bring a few Avengers with him and they get their own lesser versions of ranking up to Rune King Thor.
Also a great excuse for Loki to pull a living Tony Stark out of a timeline where he's about to die anyway and get him back into the Avengers. Do that montage thing at the TVA to bring him up to speed on what our Tony Stark did in Endgame.
And by all means get Luis from Ant-Man into this movie!

Just an idea of mine Kang Dynasty could be loose adaptation of Contest of Champions meets Dragon Ball Super Tournament of Power arc vibe. The Grandmaster and the Collector vs. Kang are the villains who agree to hold contest that will determine fate of all the multiverse and name winning team superior/the true champion of all the multiverse only one universe shall survive and the losing universes will be erased from existed thus causing incursion in all multiverse universes as a clean slate for next universes to be born for next contest of champions. Kang and his variants pick strongest versions of themselves against Grandmaster and Collectors champions from the multiverse which they ask for The Watcher assistance to help find their champions from multiverse who would stand a chance against Kang Dynasty in battle royale contest of champions thus explains why Fox Universe, Sony Spider Verse, MCU, and other past marvel live action or animated films/shows along with its characters come in. Grandmaster and Collector with Kang set rules for tournament for the fate of multiverse
1. Fighters remain in play even if rendered unconscious or unable to fight. A fighter is eliminated only when made to fall off of the fighting stage or when out of bounds.
2. Once a fighter has been knocked out of the ring they cannot return to the ring or directly attack the contestants currently in the arena. Anyone who attempts violating this rule will immediately be erased from existence.
3. The Universe with the most survivors by the end of the tournament will be the victor and the winners of the tournament universes along with its inhabitants are spared and will be declared the champions of multiverse. The losing team will no longer have any control or say in the fate of multiverse if losing team violates this agreement that team shall be erased in the incursion.
Immortus, Rama Tut, Kang, and Scarlet Centurion along with mystery partner are remaining members left from their team.
Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire), Captain America (Steve Rogers), Iron Man, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in the black suit, and Loki or who ever you want on the team are left fight. Doom from MCU is Kang Dynasty mystery partner (hes basically Frieza only doing it for himself) but betrays them by eliminating Rama Tut and Scarlet Centurion. Doom using Kang tech and his own sorcery decides become God Emperor Doom erases the battle world only leaving few survivors. Thinking he has won and doesn't have to play by the rules but the Watcher knows tournament isn't over yet this is only a warm up to come. The Watcher along with Strange Supreme look at each other knowing that a war is coming to decide the true winners of this game that Doom Kang Grandmaster and Collector are playing "Gods" and they are just pawns in coming secret wars.

Random prediction: since we’re doing alternate universes, the big bad of secret wars is a dark version of a character or group of characters we already have a strong attachment to. That way, they won’t need to spend as much time on developing them since we already know them.
Loki will create the battlegrounds and the secret war. He's probably going to talk to Kang and they agree on winner-takes-all all. Then Kang tries to double-cross Loki when he loses. this allows Loki to reach out to Thor to assemble the Avengers. Loki will probably play the role of the Beyonder in these movies. this will give Loki the great opportunity to bring back Ironman.

I think, with the Pedro Pascal announcement and post credit scenes from the marvels, that they are doing a redirect. They are going to focus on introducing the X-Men and the FF. Which will bring in Doom. Which will lead us to a different avengers movie before we get secret wars. I think we'll start to get drops of the beyonder(s), much like thanos before, and it will lead up to a two part secret wars where at the end, doom will have control of battleworld. These movies shouldn't have the avengers in their names. Should simply be "Marvel's Secret Wars 1 and 2" and "Marvel's Battleworld"
While all of this is building up, spiderman and the other street level heroes are doing their things before being drawn into the larger stories in the big movies.
I think a big part of the problem is that they can't figure out how to weave or build. Before, they were building a world while weaving a story that helped build the world. Now the world is kinda built, but they can still build it further if they remember how to weave a story with characters that people care about.
Also...there is a term in baseball that I learned this year. Regression to the mean. Sometimes, a player performs greater than usual, or performs really good when they first get to the majors, but then they regress to the middle of the pack, still good, but nothing special. People get used to seeing their stuff. Casual fans start looking for the next big thing. I think we might be seeing that with comic book movies. Nerds know that Batman and Spiderman exist in different comic book realities, but casuals just see comic books and comic book movies, so marvel made some pretty big splashes and propped up the genre, but since endgame, comic book movies in general have regressed to the mean, the novelty isn't so novel anymore. Casual fans are looking for the next big thing. A million or so passionate fans can't hope to sustain the level of financial success that the studios now expect from big tent comic book movies and the casuals have kinda moved on.

I think they'll pull a rick and morty season 7 episode 5, and use a device that wipes all versions of Kang from existence. The use of this weapon would start secret wars, with a group made of spiderman and doc strange trying to stop the weapons use on a larger scale, and another group that wants to use it on more villains like thanos.
It be cool if Dr Doom will be the one to stop Kang opening the door to Avengers 6 👍

Making the Big Bad for the next Avengers doesn't preclude them using the council of Kangs for an ultimate baddy. They had Ultron, Ronin, and Loki all while Thanos was scheming in the background. They could do minimal Kang for a while and let Majors do other things for a while, just bringing him in for short scenes, post-credits and brief appearances that can all be shot in a day or two. Seems a Marvel thing to do to put everyone off and keep people guessing.

Lucky to get Loki season 3... its been the tone marvel needs. I think in part why marvel has lost its momentum is because a lot of the generation that grew up watching it are young busy adults that have become busy with a new routine like my kids. I use to go to the movies with them to watch these movies... now I watch them by myself 🥺😭😭😭. Hopefully, this new tone sticks around... maybe they can get back some of thar old audience back. I feel what harmed the MCU was the silly tone it kept after the first GOTG. It worked with guardians well (them being my favorite) but not so well with others. Good thing marvel pays some attention to their fans and make some adjustments.
Loki is a great character. Therefore, he should continue to evolve and maybe be the reasons for other Lokis to be added to the timeline...

Here’s the pitch: Loki gains the cosmic knowledge from the tree to conquer Kang, where Odin and Thor loose an eye maybe Loki does too and/or once empowered he snaps off his own horn and turns it into a snake that eats its own tail once wrapped around all the branches and holds it freeing him to rise from his throne and find glorious purpose.
They should not replace or pivot away from Jonathan Majors. He's done a masterful job so far and I wanna see more from him. We haven't even got to see him with other characters and I was really looking forward to those exchanges

RDJ also had legal troubles in his past, but Marvel looked past that to cast him as the cornerstone of the Marvel universe “Ironman”. So why can’t they do the same for Jonathan? If Marvel recasts him, it’s a double standard.

I would personally wish that they could keep Jonathan Majors. I think it would be a slap in the face. I think when there is part 1 of Secret Wars the Beyonder (Kang Variant) should be villain then part 2 be Doctor Doom but if they recast Majors which I would absolutely hate. Then don’t do Beyonder at all and do Doctor Doom. Either way if you do Beyonder make him a Kang Variant.
If they scrap kang, it would be a big mistake

Theory:
god loki will project himself to the loki that prolly survived from thanos neck snap - then he does what hex vision did to white vision for him to catch up.
Then, neck loki will have to help out.. but.. that theory has a lot of holes and problems that come along with it, like;
1) how do we know that neck loki indeed survived?
2) what happens if there's 2 lokis that the fans love, in this equation? I mean, loki dying is getting pretty old haha
I just love it when writers write something that feels like a dead end, but they'll write up a twist that no one ever thinks of to resolve it.. then endings would still feel like the audience can speculate more.. seems like the formula nowadays, specially with K Drama series' 😂
