I see diedre mentioned Aiden Fisher and I'm sure you'll hear it a lot in these comments. Aiden Fisher is billed as a stunt double from "Stranger Things". He was the one who played "Master of Puppets" for the show and the close up shots of the hand playing the guitar is Aiden's hand. That is all being said because Liliac has released a live version of this song featuring Aiden Fisher on stage playing with them and it's fantastic. Also of note, Aiden is going on the "Monsters of Rock" tour with them. And, again as diedre mentions, do not overlook their originals. Some good originals/official videos to watch are: "Chain of Thorns", "We are the Children" (viewed as their anthem), "Dancing in the Dark", "Nothing", "Dear Father" and others. First I thought, ohh he has to listen to n old Coverfrom Liliac, "the Trooper" from Iron Maiden. Where Melodie plays the Base, and Ethan (The Base Player) plays a great Solo on the guitar. Then I thought, Oh "Sail Away" there first Balade ist good to hear the Voice of Melodie. And at least "dear Father" an other great Original ist a good Idea..... You want to see more of this band. You need to react to two new songs all originals they will blow your mind at her voice and the performance of the band. I recommend you do Madness first this one came out on the 7th July and then do Carousel it came out a month ago. They are both great but Madness is turning out to be the best they have ever done. This singer isn't human with the things she does with her voice in these two songs.
Melody’s voice is very surprising when you first hear her. It’s like Joan Jett and Ronnie James Dio’s voices somehow merged. You should check out their originals too, especially Dear Father, she hits some high notes that will blow you away.
This wasn't damn good it was extremely damn good and so was your reaction, you listened to the fangs comments which is appreciated .this is just one of dozens of tribute covers that Liliac perform and without doubt some of them are better than the original check out SEVEN NATION ARMY ,PIECE OF MY HEART, HATE MYSELF FOR LOVING YOU , THE TROOPER ,CRAZY TRAIN , CLOSE MY EYES FOREVER are my picks as being better , of course it's only my opinion , watch them see what you think . They aren't just a cover band they have released an LP and an Album with around 20 original songs *all*of which are well written (by them) and produced and distributed without the help of the mainstream corporate music industry, my favourites being MARS ,NOTHING, SAILAWAY ,NOT AFRAID ,VERTIGO , DEAR FATHER ,DANCING IN THE DARK ,CRAZY NIGHTS . WE ARE THE CHILDREN , I just realised all their originals are my favourites so play anything on their playlist you can't go wrong . Melody's voice is always mentioned by new reactors , it's her normal voice she's unique and has been singing this way since she was10yrs old which you can see for yourself by looking up their earlier videos . That steel plant built the drum river and in payment this video was filmed at it for advertisement
