OMG 😅 I almost bought you a Snoop on the Stoop!! No Joke! But I wasn't sure if you were into The Dogg like i am 😂 love the squares! So pretty 😍 oh and my favorite way to join and easiest for me is (I've seen it called so many things) is the slanted slip stitch, zig zag slip stitch or braided slip stitch. Naztazia has a really short but to the point tutorial. If i can find it, I'll text it to you. 😊
I love joining as you go for granny squares! That way you can’t see a seam because there isn’t one. Crystal at The secret yarnery has a great tutorial for it.
Hi MamaG! Yes, mattress stitch your tubes and create an ascot scarf! When you stitch, just catch 2 at a time. I love all the squares as well! I join the squares using a latch hook and just pick up the working yarn and slip stitch. Of course, you could use a crochet hook, but with the latch hook you won't drop the yarn. Have fun! Take good care! ❤
I would use one color…most likely black…with either a slip stitch or single crochet join. Slip stitch is my favorite join. Blanket is going to be beautiful put together! ❤️🧶
First time catching your channel and i really love it. It's like talking with a crochet buddy. You and i are similar in how we make our items. Loved seeing the yarn and Snoop on a Stoop is awesome. Your video is peaceful and easy to enjoy. I think I may have heard of you on the TH-cam streets from Juan the Yarn Addict. That's another channel that i love. You are the perfect pairing for my weekend early morning crochet. Merry Christmas
Hi Giny. Your squares are gorgeous, and are going to make a lovely blanket! Usually when I join granny squares, I first crochet around all of them with a sc, and in the corners sc, ch2, sc (in the colour that I am going to eventually join with). Then when I am ready to join, my favorite join is to do a slip stitch in the back loop only while holding squares back sides together. If you want a different look, hold the front sides together instead and slip stitch through two loops. (I join them in rows/strips, so there are fewer ends to sew in, and after all the longest strips are done, then I turn blanket 90 degrees and do the slip stitches along the other direction). If you would like a tutorial about it, let me know and I will try to find one to email to you.
I made Mom a Christmas blanket using puzzle in checkers and frost. Nine 18inch granny squares joined as you go with granny stitches. Turned out fantastic. ❤. That may work for yours. Just not sure what color to use.
Great idea for the scarf. I would sc in black to connect the squares. I mean. Come on, Snoop on a stoop!! Love it. Where did you get that? You are so multi talented, i admire your skills. Have a good day
I love the scarf idea! I would only do it if you think you will actually use it. And if you do it, I would suggest doing slip-stitches instead of sewing it. But that's just cuz I prefer working with a hook over a needle. Anyway, I love all of your creative ideas.
I bought that same super saver ombre yarn in multiple colors and only the purple was super rough. Maybe I got a bad batch, but all of the other colors were softer than the purple!
"Use your adverbs when you can!" LOVE THAT. Personally, what I would do is use the yarn from the square with the blotches to slip-stitch together the back loops only. I think it would be cool to have a little bit of ombre going on in the stitching, but I could also see that being bothersome for the OCD. So maybe a dark purple?? Whatever brings you joy. :)
Love you! Always and forever! Also, Rusty here as if you did not already know that! We both love you and the fantastic humor you bring to our community! You. Are. Fabulous
Omg girl my beautiful Twinsie Mama G. When I first looking at your thumb nail it looked like it said something else lol. So I put you on my laptop to see that it said blotches lol. What a day today. Beautiful work as always. 🩵🤗💙 oh no eewww blink. My eyes my eyes. Have a beautiful day
I have a video on how i stitch together the tubes I make on the sentro. I have made cardigans by joining tubes from my Sentro48. You can also join them together to make a blanket. Look at my tutorial on how I join the tubes and how I close the edge so its flat. I think the scarf would look nice and you should try it. I stitch up the tubes pretty quickly... once you get the hang of it, I like using a middle bar inside the V edge stitch.
Love your squares... I don't care for the sc join because it makes a raised bump. Yes it goes faster but I prefer to hand sew it under the seams. Just my opinion.
What yarn is this? Sorry you have to remake that. It depends what you are trying to make with the squares, is it a blanket? Have you measured each square to see what your approximate total size will be once you join, however many squares you want. Mattress stitch is used to sew them together seamless. If you want a border you can add a border with a color you want to stand out, either one of the square colors, a neutral or a strong contrast...you can make a border to each square and there are multiple different type of joins to choose from.. (like zig zag or instead a join as you go). Some free blanket with squares crochet along have videos you can use...or look at some different granny square sampler crochet along blankets for different ideas. There are alot of different types of joins out there..
So glad I found out about you. Love the videos and the genuineness of all of you. I love to contribute to those who are real. ❤❤

Hi Mama G! We have an Elf on the Shelf here and last year we added Snoop on the stoop. My son is 12 this year and we are having so much fun with him!
Love all those squares. ❤

I love the squares, and I think it is going to be striking. Love and light to you
Beautiful squares 😍

The scarf idea makes sense to me. I like your idea for fingerless mitts too. And I almost lost this edit too…silly me.
Oh the pretty purple scarf could probably be done in the round also. I would like to see that tutorial.
Ok so warmies... Nice idea.
love the stitch!
I joined 81 smaller with Crystal @Bagoday method.
Love me some Snoop too. That’s cute.
Zig zag slip stitch in a nice chocolate brown to join. It's easy, fast and flat.
I like all your ideas.
An off white of some shade would be good to join, would look good. It would highlight each color to me.
That stitch was one Hooked By Robin did for a scarf. I watched that and thought about making it as well.
I bought that same super saver ombre yarn in multiple colors and only the purple was super rough. Maybe I got a bad batch, but all of the other colors were softer than the purple!
Lookin good!

You’re very welcome, Giny! 😊🫶🏻 …Everything you’re making looks great! …OMG! Snoop on a Stoop is the Bloop! 😂 Love it!
Wouldn't it be easier to see the unclosed ends together? (The blues and green) 🤔 Oh well this is not my forte I suppose 🤦
