Vloeimans, Goudsmit, Fraanje / Fugimundi | Live at North Sea Jazz 2023

We see the trio Fugimundi, consisting of gitarist Anton Goudsmit, pianist Harmen Fraanje and trumpeter Eric Vloeimans, play the songs 'Charlotte', 'Mon Petite Prince' and 'Fatima' at the North Sea Jazz Festival 2023 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
The trio Fugimundi made a name for itself years ago, and the outfit, which includes guitarist Anton Goudsmit, pianist Harmen Fraanje and trumpeter Eric Vloeimans, has recorded a number of great albums. Vloeimans’ focus however this past decade was on other projects, but now Fugimundi has returned. The group’s sound is widely referred to as ‘chamber jazz’. The mercurial improvisations, individual class of the trio, and their sense of fun are the main ingredients of the Fugimundi recipe. At the time, the 2006 album Summersault was a revelation, so naturally, the formation received multiple requests to perform all across the globe. The result was the stunning live record Fugimundi Live At Yoshi's, an album recorded at the legendary jazz club in Oakland, California. Golden times will be revived during this concert.
