Thank Aaron, the videos are insightful. Now, I am trying to bolt up diagonal bracing on an elevated water tank tower, and in some instances, I am getting the warning that the connection was not made. Any help/assistance will be much appreciated
hi, would you share the families you used to be able to do this model? like, girt, beams, columns, and conections systems, please>? otherwise this would be impossible to follow, thank tou in advance
Thanks for your awesome videos. I have one question about your purlins' family. How could you define your purlin family in the Revit, because the default z purlin family in library do not have structural parameter enable us to do steel connection.
please follow the link below to download the purlins family. www.dropbox.com/s/5k0wxt8aqo3c9ga/Revit%20Family-Australian%20LYSGHT-Cee%20Sections-20210409.zip?dl=0 You need to copy both files included in the link and paste them in the location of your choice in your Revit library, after you do that, go back to Revit and go to load family, search the location you stored the files in, and you will be able to the purlins family (it may do an update for the family file if you are using a later Revit version)
thanks for your awesome video, I have followed the same procedure but appearing a problem in purlin connection details (connection failed), it could not add fabrication data to input elements, how could it be fixed ?
