Watching the ending help me imagine what Hmong folklores and mythical stories would be in the eyes of a shaman portrayed to the communities. Likewise, this film kept me thinking about about all the sad love scary Hmong dab neeg stories on TH-cam too. Beautiful work Tshajlij well developed and produced.

The ended surely explained my whole curiosity about this story. First, I was confused what the story line was. Until the end tu siab kawg li tseem xav kom ntev zog me me...hehehe..the sharman part just got everyone attention and the excitement just begin but why ended so sad 😞
Was very well filmed, camera angles and lighting were spot on. The scenery and location choices were amazing. The actress looks very familiar. I do believe this was filmed in Alaska. Monsters were frightening! Best that ive seen so far in terms of a hmong production film. i feel like the script needed a little work. Perhaps it was rushed due to production time. Maybe they could’ve had a elder help with the grammar. Acting is bit on the amateur side but overall it was GREAT!

That's why there are assistants accompany him. Some stories told the shaman can so emotional or fall for the dead and don't want to come back to the living then his assistants will remind and guide him back. The reason to never reveal shaman face during the journey is for safety of him afterwards
