I think the video introduction should have started with "what is scrum" and "the need of scrum master" elaborately. It's a little difficult for a beginner to carry on with the video trying to relate who wants to know about scrum and why be a scrum master!! Thank you

who delegates the tasks/stories from the backlog? or is it team member's responsibility to pick a task? And is it Scrum Master's responsibility to assign points for each task/story?
That would be the product owner I'd say. The PO decides what should be put into a sprint backlog and in what order, possibly in communication with others (e.g. the team or Scrum Master).
The team is supposed to just pick up the task/story highest on the sprint backlog.
The scrum master is the team role responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use. The responsibilities of this role include: Clearing obstacles. Establishing an environment where the team can be effective. He is the leader of a Scrum team and is responsible for championing a project, providing guidance to the team and product owner.

so the Scrum Master cannot also be a team member, for example a QA person on the project? Also, is the Scrum master a Project Manager, or is that a separate role?
I play both roles in my organization. It all depends on the type of projects your organization takes on.

A lot of what is said in this video is not Scrum. Read the Scrum guide and see. Read about how the Scrum Master facilitates empirical process control. Scrum is not a method, but a framework in which complex product development using empirical process control can be managed by the Scrum team.
