I was looking forward to this movie due to all the constant ads. Three of us went to see it Christmas Eve. I thought it was terrible and so did the other two I was with. We walked out half way through. I was surprised that this movie was like a prime time soap opera centered on relationship drama. This movie was mostly focused on power, control and the typical Hollywood version of war/human versus human not the realistic life of homesteading. I wasn’t expecting to sit through 2 hours of arguing and people fighting amongst each other. I can’t remember ever walking out of a movie before (I’m an old dog). Personally, I’m sick and tired of the negative narrative of war, negativity and humans hurting/killing each other that Hollywood constantly pushes. It feels deliberate in many ways… if you haven’t seen it save your money..
This is fantastic, I'm sending this to my husband because he really wants to take me to see this movie, but most movies these days re just goyslop to me 😅
