@@cangwane well if you're wheel to well like that, you can't just turn in and push them of the track, then you'd never be able to overtake ever... also, you have to give a bit more space to AI to make the battles realistic, because otherwise it would be very very easy to defend, like he proved in his battle with Bottas. Even if he falls behind them in the DRS, it's super easy to outbrake and squeeze them on the apex, which isn't very realistic. The same rules don't apply against AI, compared to actual F1 or league racing, unless you want the battles to be super unrealistic and impossible for you to lose of course.

@@markvorster3921 he was literally right up against the kerb, and once again, if you want realistic and fair racing versus AI, you gotta leave them more space than you would normally, otherwise it's suuuper easy to defend, by just forcing them off the track or squeezing them onto the apex, like Ben did. Btw if that happened in real F1, he'd get shown a black and white flag. Like Charles got at Monza in 2019, or Grosjean at Silverstone in 2020. If a car is alongside, you gotta give them a cars width of space in the corners, or if there's kerb you can't push them over the white line, which is what Ben did. It doesn't matter if you're slightly ahead.
Ben is so fast. Imagine how much faster he could be if he would only take 2 minutes to figure out how setups work. Ben, the track characteristics of Bahrain and COTA are completely different. Just because the setup was good at one track, doesn't mean it's going to drive well at other tracks. The reason you couldn't get traction is because your rear wing is too low. Even Esports guys, as quickly as they get on the throttle, use at least 2-9 wings, and that's in TT, where the extra speed allows them to use lower wings. You're on here with 3-7 wings. Which means your front end is getting a lot of bite without the rear downforce to stabilize it. And that's before you even mess with suspension and suspension geometry. That's why you keep losing traction and spinning out through the S section. Sorry for the outburst. I've just been watching you make these mistakes for years now. I hope we can learn from our disagreements and come out of this situation as better people.
By the way the time glitches happen because you accelerate time or skip certain points like the OUTLAP. This is because the time shown for when the session ends doesn't measure or have the accuracy of a thousandth of a second. Which is why the qualifying times are absolutely ridiculous. When you watch the AI go round the circuit its in more realistic because the time is more accurate. But when you simulate time it shows times 30 acceleration and all that the qualifying time becomes less accurate. At least that's my understanding on it.
Consolidate only the ultimate chassis and aero upgrades (like downforce, tire wear, weight reduction). You can't do all. You can win Mexico anyway, and if Lando makes it a 1-2, you'll get 11 points on Verstappen just at that race. You were quick in Brazil too, so just get it together there as well and get 8 or 11 points on Max there. You can't preserve every upgrade because you don't have the points, so sacrifice drag reduction, braking, weight redistribution and all engine upgrades. With ultimate tire wear, ultimate weight reduction and ultimate downforce, you'll be fastest of the newly-slowed down cars. Get Ricciardo in the car as well
The more suspension you have, toe or rear, the more downforce you will have. So if you want to stabilize the car in the curves you bring those two numbers up ;) if you want high speed on straights, you bring those numbers down

Really hope on next years F1 game the AI are a lot more aggressive and don’t bottle it during sections of the track where you are running side by side, forcing you to back out sometimes instead of them ALWAYS conceding the position, also that they go for more dive bombs into heavy breaking zones
I'd say get the ultimate "Carreer Mode Editing Speed" Upgrade, coupled with the facilities "Internet Upspeed" and "Championship-Champagne-Refrigerator". LEZZ GOOO!!!! Dont make us wait so long for Mexico ;)

But the fact that you've already secured the constructors mean that you are going to have big money pouring in. So you can make an have a head start going into next season which will put you right at the front and you can just upgrade the rest of your facilities to get more resource points so that you don't lag behind. Focusing your attention on the future being next season instead of being short sighted and trying to win a title you lost way back in japan.
I would focus on the reg changes, cause the next two races are Mexico and Brazil, which are both pretty good for the player, so you should do well there regardless

That’s why I don’t run sim damage, generally when the other cars hit you, you generally take a LOT more damage than the AI does. I’ve had them hit me like that and I lose my wing and they keep going with zero damage🤦🏻♂️
Lol that was hard racing with Bottas. In real life that will be 5 seconds of penalty. I don't know why TH-camrs try to show omg look at that, it's called racing. No it's called hard racing and pushing off the track. That's why you don't feel good racing in career mode after 3-4 seasons. I don't do that that's why I find it much entertaining
Some of the driving was way too aggressive and would have had penalties racking up. As a community, we complain about how aggressive people are in online lobbies (and rightly so) but then doing it to the AI and pushing them off track is ok. If anything, this "amazing defensive" driving just encourages dirty driving
