Why are people keep saying that this is the same old boring collection? Is it because the tweed? The tweed might look similar every season, but look closely at the construction details. They construct the tweed in different way each season and I can see the differences in the end result. I know that most of these dresses are not pleasingly beautiful and could've been done better. But, to say its same and boring, i don't think so.

The bell-skirt shapes evoke, for me, the 1920’s “robe de style” that was flattering on less than perfect figures. Nice!

Yikes! That was frightening! I just got done looking at Oscar and Armani and then came over here and Chanel is a scary blow after the beauty of the other two fashion shows. Chanel needs to get into this century. There are some things even sequins and beads can't fix!!
Not impressed overall, but that wedding dress was the best I've seen so far. Very inventive and modern for the post-gender era.

Though they all look alike, Chanel doesn’t deteriorate
Some beautiful pieces (the more fitted dresses and coats and some of those diaphanous candy confections), but if we hold all designers to the same standard...one of innovation...than we should do the same for Karl at Chanel. He does incredible work at Fendi season after season so I know he’s capable. I understand there are codes to Chanel and expectations from his clients...but there’s room to push forward.
When you start quoting yourself, it probably means you've run out of anything to say. Karl's been one of the most amazing purveyors of gorgeous clothes and images in fashion over the last few decades, but somehow this collection reeks of tiredness and makes me hope for some much-awaited creative change.
Then really need a new design since many years ago....

Les personnes qui reprochent à Karl de ne pas renouveler ces collections devrait penser a leur critiques qui ne varient pas non plus, oui il ramène toujours le fameux tweed, mais ce n'est pas le fameux tweed pour rien et sa manière d'être fabriquer est juste un chef, certaines robes peuvent paraitre étranges mais c'est la haute couture, tout est exagéré et il faut savoir trouver la beauté qui peut être dans certains cas je l'admet invisible

Same design of every color
The shoulder pads are awful and the tweed is quite repetitive but still nice. The dresses are beautiful. The whole thing could use a younger person's touch. Wish they would go the way of Balmain and bring some new talent in.

Firstly, I love Karl's new beard, very sexy. Secondly, oh dear...so much of the same old same old. The tweed jackets, tweed dresses, tweed shorts at the beginning where so boring. The rest of the collection, though pretty was also boring The house of Chanel will never get rid of Karl, he is Chanel. So, we just have to accept we will see the same thing again in the next few months. Sigh.
