I really like the classic ones. And if they weren't so expensive I'd totally get them all.
I think the Figuarts Zeros are only really worth it if you get your favorite character. I recently got the Jupiter one, and I think she's really pretty (though, the price I am not a fan of). I think the full size Banpresto Girls Memories figures are the way to go if you want a full set of figures/"statues."
While I am not a fan of Crystal, I might just get the Jupiter Figuarts Zero when it comes out. The price is reasonable enough, and I think the Sailor Moon figure is pretty (and if the pictures are accurate, the Mercury one is even prettier).
+spiderleenie I recently picked up the Sailor Pluto Girls Memories figure. She's my very first anime figure ever actually and I absolutely love it. Speaking from a total n00b to anime figure collecting, I would totally recommend the Girls Memories figure. Though I had a little bit of trouble of figuring out how to attach Pluto's Garnet Orb to her but I finally got it after finding an unboxing video for it. But yeah, the Girls Memories figures are totally worth every penny.
+Brooks Austin The Girls Memories figures are fantastic *especially* for beginning collectors! They're beautiful, affordable, and all of the characters are available (or will be available soon, at least). I easily recommend them over the Figuarts Zeros! :)
+spiderleenie I really want to get Sailor Mars since she's my favorite of the Inner Soldiers but I had to get Pluto because she was one of my fav Outers and who knows if I would have seen her at BAM again.
+spiderleenie Do you know if there is a Tuxedo Mask one for Girl's Memory? There aren't many figures of him that I can find.
+Kisa To my knowledge, I'm pretty sure there isn't one. I don't think there's even a Figuarts Zero of Tuxedo Mask right now. There's an S.H. Figuarts of him, though.
I never bought the zero models for classic simply because like you I wasn't a fan of how they looked. Mercury really is the only one that I thought was pretty. That being said I decided to buy the Crystal one. I think it's cute but I'm not a fan of the gloss finish. I like the pearl finish better.

Always interesting to see different opinions and taste. For me personally, in my recollecting of Sailor Moon figures the exact opposite experience happened. I used to collect both the S.H. Figuarts and the Figuarts Zeros, and ultimately sold off all my S.H. Figuarts and have since stuck to collecting only the Zero line. With the S.H. Figuarts, there were too many different ones of those released for me to have room for, I hated having to keep track of all the tiny pieces, and with being a working adult, I never had time to ever switch the faces and do different poses. The Petite figures have also been too abundant, and too cutesy for me. Out of all the Sailor Moon figures that have been produced past or present, I've found the Zero line to be the absolute best and the only one I need. They are the largest, most high quality and detailed figures out there. They are also the most accurate to how the characters look in the shows. I've also loved that unlike any other Sailor Moon figures I've seen, they actually incorporate each of the Inners actual attacks and elemental magic powers. I over all prefer the Classic Moon to the Crystal version though, because it is larger, has more accurate earrings and details, and I actually like her pose (it's her doing her in the name of the moon pose while at the same time swooshing her wand, two poses for the price of one). I highly recommend getting Jupiter, Venus, and the REAL Sailor Mars over a garage kit any day (higher quality figure without having to stress about the costs and burden of painting it).

For the tamashi buddies, if you decide to get all 5 inner senshi, you could download and print a different background from the tamashii buddies website. It's the moon kingdom, split into 5 printable backgrounds (if you display all 5 next to each other).

Well, I forgot I had placed an order for the Jupiter Tamashii Buddy, and it arrived in the mail a few hours ago. She's really cute, but nothing amazing (I'll probably just stick with this one). Still, it's one of the more affordable collectibles out now.
Considering the Tamashii Buddies that are made for other anime (like DBZ), I can see how collecting these can be addictive. Plus, they're really convenient for display; the stackable stands allow you to make more shelf room, which is a really nice feature.

Great job because sailor moon merchandise is usually very expensive I know because I try my best to collect at a young age like I'm not even a teen yet so I have to wait till my birthday to get a gift from my parents or something and when I research they r very expensive so I wanna tell u congrats because it's really hard to get a great collection like that and I live ur vids and I hope someday I can have a collection as big as urs

I for one am not so fond of the crystal version and when they announced the posable s.h. figuarts or crystal sailor moon i was a bit disappointed... I dunno

I think it was the crystal version I saw earlier prototypes of and the legs were super wonky. I'm glad to see they fixed that weridness

It's always cool seeing a video from you. The classic zero figurarts trumps the crystal ons on my opinion. I HOPE that they do some classic zero figurarts of the other senshi as Pluto and Saturn are my favs
+Nala1982 I have a really strong feeling that they will do the Zero outers in Classic version. Just considering the stationary with the outers has done super well sales-wise so- IDK. I have moonie feelings lol.

Crystal's hair looks like spaghetti, haha. I think the gloss really detracts from everything about the figure, though. I mean, that's the first thing you notice, its a bit jarring.
Do you ever plan on collecting any more Saturn figures or anything else with her? She's my favorite but of course she has less merch than the others, I think.

Face in crystal is better but I prefer classic figure... like anime 90's :)

I like the Classic One better, but I don't think the figure itself is worth the price. Sure, there's a lot of details, but it's basically a (Larger) S.H. Figurarts figure that is pernemently posed. The only difference being is the stand, her brooch, and her locket. I could see the brooch proplicas being about 80 dollars, but this... Well, like I said, it's not worth the price.
Which one do you prefer between the 2?

Honestly the crystal one is way prettier because of the detail but the Original one looks like it's out of a Hentai or something no offence;)
For Sailor Moon I like the crystal version better. I feel like its more dynamic and I like the gloss better. I also don't like the hair in the original for some reason. I have all of the original zeroes and to me the colors look dull except for the shoes.

I agree with u they are not very beautiful except for Mercury who is completely beautiful but I don't like this line and my uncle ordered me the sailor moon S.H figuart and it's coming from Japan so it's coming on the 14 (in 2weeks) I can't wait she's about the same amount of money as the crystal one but she's made better and has a lot more pieces and then there's the crystal one that I don't think looks good

Not a big fan of the zero line, I'd rather buy a figuart that includes a ton of accessories and effect parts for that price.
If you want to sell you sailor moon and sailor mercury I would buy sailor moon and sailor Mercury for you if you send me boxes too
I wonder if they were intended as bootlegs, or if they're factory defectives that the company still wants to make a dollar off of. I mean, you don't really manage to put in that much effort and work into a bootleg, do you?

I have Sailor Mars Figuarts Zero that I got for Christmas. I'm glad I have the authentic one and it's extremely high quality. _へ__(‾◡◝ )> I was thinking about under their skirt of Sailor Senshi Figuarts Zero is one of the reasons why they don't recommend for age under 15.
I have a classic figure and like it very much, although her face could be better. Crystal is too plastic ... rubber. It looks very cheap.
