@@TalonsTech why do gamers use the electricity argument lmao, it's a decent metric to see how more efficient one arquitecture is from another, but in real use scenario it will not have an impact even in germany, you need to run a 4090 and 13900K non stop at 100% for a whole year to notice an actual difference in electricity bill, you wont notice a 80W difference that its only there when you are gaming for a few hours

do you use a waterblock for your gpu or is that the card cooling itself? thinking of upgrading to 4070 or 7800xt same price in my country

in this test the 4070 is running way above stock frequencies and the 7800xt still has overclocking headroom. and you're never going to find a 4070 that performs this well for msrp. this entire video is very sus.

Interesting gpu especially for the raster, the problem of consumption remains, they are really high compared to the 4070, let's see the street price, I expect at least 100/150 euros less than the 4070

If you are NOT able to purchase the flagship GPUs right now (e.g. 4090), I do not recommend focusing on Ray Tracing. RT murders performance on most of the GPUs and very few games have it implemented in them.
And thus, AMD beats NVIDIA in terms of raw power and price.

4070 used 50% of the watts 7800 does, so less electric bill to 😮 at almost same performance

  • @MiddleClassAmerican

The story is as expected. AMD wins in pure dollar for FPS but falls short when RT is enabled. AMD also uses about 50% more power to achieve this result.
So which one to buy? I don't know... it depends what you care about...

You forget the 16 vs 12 gb of VRAM.
Also at this point AMD cares more for their customers than Nvidia.
