The spelling was about as accurate as that point was. I like Marni and she has some good material, but it's plainly ridiculous to tell someone not to care about getting along with a person they like and are attracted to. There's a huge difference between not being yourself and simply trying to connect with someone. If the latter is "needy," then "needy" is healthy.
I saw a case once on Judge Judy. It was about a guy who had a house to rent. So he rented the house to this woman. He liked her, so he gave her cheap rent and bought two big-screen TVs for her to enjoy. Then he started hitting on her, but she rebuffed him because she was not interested in him. Then she found a boyfriend. Then boyfriend moved in with her. That made the landlord very angry. So the landlord now jacked up the rent. The next thing that happened was that she moved out and took the two big-screen TVs with her. The guy was suing her because the two big-screen TVs were not gifts. They were there just for her to enjoy while living there and paying rent. Look what happened. He gave her cheap rent and two big-screen TVs and she still was not interested in him. A lot of guys should learn a lesson from the above case.
Hell yeah that’s one issue sone guys have in. That they can’t accept that no, means no. that’s part of the reason I think so many women are skeptical of men at first, as she’s trying to give hints as to weather or not she’s interested.
Seems to me that girls largely don't want to really flirt . They do it so vaguely & indirectly that, if a male (who doesn't happen to be a mind reader) is wrong about what she's doing (whatever it is) being flirting, even if it actually was, she still can deny that she was doing anything to come on to him. The trick is to not play her games and just be you. Flirt if you want to flirt, be physical if you want to be physical, joke if you want to joke. They will know the "real" you eventually so there's no point trying to please her in the short term unless your only goal is to sleep with her in which case fake it till you make it.

Thanks, that means a lot. I honestly just never put myself out there. I just go to work and back and then feel depressed when I can't match on dating apps. It makes me feel sad because I actually feel like I could cherish someone and make them feel loved, but maybe I'm just selfish about the entire construct of a relationship. A few of the girls in our group helped the lads in the group, and they went from have 0-1 matches every week or two to having a few a week. As for not having much experience, it’s ok. Many people feel the same, and some girls would be going through the same thing as you. I went to an all guys school for 12 years, and didn’t have much experience, but talking to others I realised how there were girls who done the same. Covid also doesn’t help. Just set small goals for yourself, make small steps, and reward yourself when you’ve reached them. It shouldn’t necessarily be about the end goal, but more so the experience you’ve had along the way. Take it slow, and you should be ok.
It might be that she's interested in you, but she feels intimidated when she sees you. It's happened to me a couple of times, heck it happened today. This cute nerdy girl couldn't even look me in the eye as I was walking in her direction. I'm not Brad Pitt or have a million bucks, but I do get noticed by pretty ladies. I have learned that I do have some control over whether I'm friend zoned or not. If she keeps calling me"friend," then I keep clarifying that I'm not her friend. And if we're going out, it's not as a friend but as a date. And if we have too much to drink and I shouldn't drive home and ended up staying the night, then I'm not sleeping on your couch, I'm sleeping in the bed with her. However, if they know you and like you, age won't matter much. Older men have a lot to offer that men their own age either can't or won't. As for social media, I think it has great potential for finding mates through getting to know one another over time (via one or the other's TikTok or TH-cam accounts for example). That is, assuming their accounts are sufficiently small that one-on-one interaction can and does regularly occur.

Im 35, married, but no kids, but i just met a woman at work who id like to call my girl. I can't demonstrate my good points when they won't even engage in a conversation. This is a good video. Hey I can flirt but almost never seal the deal. Why? I fail horribly at number 1 and never even knew about number 2. I actually find that many girls light up when approached and give a lot of IOI's such as smiling, giggling, twirling their hair, glancing at your lips etc. It's after that initial interaction that they seem to suddenly lose all interest and avoid you. And you have to be very careful making any kind of physical contact or openly flirting, as that's a great way to make her feel uncomfortable or have one of her friends or management come up telling you to leave her alone. Thanks, that means a lot. I honestly just never put myself out there. I just go to work and back and then feel depressed when I can't match on dating apps. A few of the girls in our group helped the lads in the group, and they went from have 0-1 matches every week or two to having a few a week.
As for not having much experience, it’s ok. Many people feel the same, and some girls would be going through the same thing as you. I went to an all guys school for 12 years, and didn’t have much experience, but talking to others I realised how there were girls who done the same. Covid also doesn’t help.
Just set small goals for yourself, make small steps, and reward yourself when you’ve reached them. It shouldn’t necessarily be about the end goal, but more so the experience you’ve had along the way. Take it slow, and you should be ok.
