IMO, it's cool - if the humour hits home, it doesn't really matter where the idiots being lampooned are from. And the fact that you learn something about places other than home is always good, too. :) I couldn't even begin to detail how much I've absorbed about the US political scenery from the likes of Jon Stewart or Bill Maher.
I'm not saying a complete change, just keep peppering them in. The segments about the European debt crisis and the Iraq war, (the new war, not the old war :) were amazing and topical for everyone. How about one about China's stock market bubble tied in with the corresponding fall in metals/mining prices. From what I gather Australians care a lot about that.
