Eine wunderschöne Probe. Danke an diesen talentierten musikern. Meines Wissens, die Hicaz Makam hat Ursprünge zurück in Old Arabic and Bizantinne music . Obwohl Hicaz Makam is very mystic-spirituel Makam, wir Türken haben von diesem wunderschönen Makam nur traurige, schwermütige Lieder komponiert. Hicaz hat noch vieles zu versprechen.

very beautiful combination with wonderful musicians. one observation, many instruments have trouble in duet with cello because it is such a powerful dominating instrument. some of the subtlety of the softer oud was lost. it's just so hard to take advantage of the sounds of a cello without it overwhelming everything else. maybe just amping the oud a bit, I don't know. nevertheless, it was chillingly beautiful
