When i had kids i took a job in the surface coal mines as a mechanic for 10yrs and have built many full size , the track loader is the best of both worlds , now i gotta get one
@@gravydogg1 oh man, this is turning into one of my favorites in the fleet. I think it is the best of both worlds as you stated. And yes, you gotta get you one! 😎😊
I have the same model. some advice. change the track pins to screw track pins. The regular pins come loose all the time. 2nd watch the track guide rollers, the come loose n fall off. 3rd, take off the rake in the back. It get in the way big time when you load on and off a trailer. Also when you try to climb. The rakes work well if you want to keep them on. It's a nice machine to have. I also made a 3dprinted dozer(plow) blade for it that makes even more fun to use. Good luck with it.
@@CuzzieCuzz right on. Thanks for the tips. I’ll definitely keep the scarifier on the back. It does get in the way for climbing but I like to use it and it’s one of the reasons I got this model. Dozer blade is a fantastic idea!
I have a couple track loaders and this one by far is my work horse never breaks down and I think it gets stronger as I run it lol you will like it. I believe the track pins are ok it’s just stupid e clips that make you want to remove them. Also I had to add mix to one of my tracks for sound it only worked on 1 track
@@jdoc6062 I noticed that with the sound also. I used up all my mixes for my preferred driving style or I would mix that as well. I’m really glad to hear it’s a workhorse and reliable, I hope mine is that way as well. So far it’s an amazing machine and very powerful. It’s just what I was looking for to fill a small gap in my fleet.
I purchased the 937 with the fly sky st8 controller. Do you think you could help me with setting up the loader as you did with yours. I would like to contact you if possible?
@@RueyMorris sure. I think the ST 8 is very similar to programming as this radio is but you should have more mixing options. If you got questions you can contact me at digitrcconstruction@gmail.com.
@@CuzzieCuzz that’s how I have my 4200xl excavator setup too and it’s ok for those short runs but it would drive me nuts trying to run this loader that way. I would get so frustrated I probably wouldn’t use it. That’s what I love about these programmable radios. You can make things work the way you like. I think the only machine I have that is still stock radio setup is the Komatsu WA470 wheel loader.
@@jdoc6062 it kinda looks like a servonaut brand unit to me as well. I looked close but the receiver is foam taped to it and I didn’t want to dig it out to verify.
That thing is 1/10th scale bro. Out of scale for 1/14th bro. Looks cool as rocking horse shit ahy. . Blown by how massive it is ahy. Seeing chinesse hands all over em makes these things look spot on. But now iv seen an americans hands on 1. Its a nahhhh for me. .
@@r.ccustomtruckingsydneyaus4632 by my calculations and measurements, going off of CAT specs for the 963, it is closer to 1:12 scale. Still larger than 1/14 but right in line with most of the other equipment in my fleet. They get close but these are not exact scale models. Most of them are in the 1/12 to 1/13 scale range. I’ve kinda settled on 1/12 as the closest average for all of this “1/14 scale” equipment.

Nice. I'm ordering the Lesu Liebherr 636 trac-loader kit to build.
@@scotabot7826 I was looking at that one too. Looks like it will be a nice model and a fun build.

When you set the offset, what exactly does the offset do??
