Been hearing about a new Yamaha deal with Neve. Is this the first with the Neve mic pre's?
Or is it another in the line of sadly lacking Yamaha pre's?
Just mixed on it @ Dru Fabriek in the Netherlands for AL McKay ALLSTARS sold out show,,EZ 2 pic up on,, sounds very good,,mic pres,EQ,EFX,all very nice,,surprisingly fast,U can get around very quickly, make a move and hear it, that's what i like,small foot print so i can sit down and mix if i want 2,,I must say i love analog,, but i had lot's of fun my first time on the CL5,,Recording was so EZ ,POP N A Stick hit record,play back was on point,,Tell's the truth so B careful on FX :-)

I heard the pre's are a mix of what's inside the M7CL and the PM5D but Neve is only for the Premium rack
this is amazing mixer, all in one, no need of compressor, digital effects, limiter, equalizer, crossover and etc. its built-in on the mixer. nice, what is the price of this mixer?
Seriously... all you need is power amplifier. Where are you bro? I'm planning of building a 20,000 capacity theatre and Yamaha would do the sound and will use all yamaha equipment thumbs 👍 👌

So with the CL5 coming in at under $30k, why on earth would anyone buy an M7CL ever again?
It's all goes down to money. M7CL48 on secondary market are going in $12K-$15K range, you can get a full-blown -ES setup with three SB-168ES stageboxes for under $25K. Yes, it's not as flexible as Profile, but hey, you get a full-blown system for half the price. Plus, NO LAYERS! All channels are on the surface all the time. Makes a huge difference for analog guys and also saves on faders wear, they only move when YOU move them. Well, you can spend $250K for XL8, but do you really need that much?
I thoght a long time ago analog mixers were hard to use this shit seems to much and I love it when mixers seem harder to run

Umm where can you do this setup at for under 25k??? cause I ain't found that yet lol snd my church is looking heavliy
Only 26 channel faders = not enough. the LS9/32 is enough for certain applications, but switching layers or channel banks makes me crazy. I'd rather see the M7 fader layout.
Maybe cause the Preamps?

Looks stupidly difficult. For the Mount of one this thing costs, I'm sure you can buy a great analog desk and a rack of gear. Keep the analog desk in a case, bolt it on top of effects racks. Pewter sit. No learning curve.
