I have tinnitus for over 10 years seems to be a pulsating form. This is a blood vein contacting the 8th nerve , giving a buzzing sound. At first a medicine Carbamazepine helped for 3 months. Still helps a little to calm down brain activity. I learned that ear doctors in general always say, you have to live with it, most of them have no clue. What you inform me and us with this info is fantastic and gives a basis for further action, many thanks.!
Thank you Dr. Michelle, the information is one of the best I heard. Much appreciate this from you and treble health. Dr. Ben and the rest gives me hope to continue to live with tinnitus.
Thank you for this information; I had lived with T since 2010 when I first noticed an ear fluctuation in 2002 after an aero smith concert, high pitch muffled sound that lasted a few days but was decreasing each day and then gone when it really shifted for me was after a Keith urban concert I notice a significant shift in my head, both concerts stage seats, no ear plugs my bad. Also, growing up in my 20s, I partied in bars when bands and speakers were a thing. It might have been the prerequisite for this condition today. I don't know if this is damage or something else without an MRI. AfraidI is afraid to get an MRI for fear they will discover something else, and I will have to add that to my plate of crazy-making. UGGGG, I have had T for over 20 years.
Is it true that if tinnitus sounds like white noise it is usually a physical issue that could be resolved medically (i.e TMJ splints, botox). TMJ treatment has helped me considerably.
I have been seeing these Cortexi drops everywhere now since I always search up on tinnitus. I have had it for about a year and a half. it was minimal at first but for the past 6 months it got a bit worse.. I'd love for a bit of peace and quiet when im in my bed at night..
No wonder we all feel so helpless. Seems one can spend a lifetime and a fortune trying to figure out the cause, and how to live with tinnitus. I looked forward to a healthy and active retirement, but now, I feel like all my planning and saving were for nothing, as many days, I can't function at all, let alone travel. Batteries of tests have not helped at all, and it seems horrible to have to live this way, hoping that in a few years, TRT may help make me better.
Can notch tinnitus therapy help along with CBT? I've been using sound therapy that targets my frequency (4615 Hz, range 4000-4700 Hz), violet noise, and I feel it targets the root sound. I'm just tired of hearing *pinga-pinga-pinga* in the hi-hat in Isaac Hayes' Shaft
Hi ...I got my tinnitus by taking doxcycyline for 10 days then I stop taking the medicine and it's been 2 months already but my tinnitus still there...they said tinnitus will stop after stop taking the medicine and I'm really concern now about my tinnitus specially when a high pitch tone and I get nervous...I had hearing test done and the results is symmetrical and also went to the ENT for sure and doctor findings is all healthy and clear, no damage or whatsoever so i felt relief but my concern is when is this tinnitus stop? What can you advice me for this tinnitus with a high pitch? What should I do? 😔 Thanks!
@@TinnitusLabs I don't go to concerts at all and yes I do protect my ear from doing loud things ..thank you....I got my tinnitus from taking antibiotics prescribed by dermatologist which I doubt to take it and I regret it...and at the moment I got a high spike tinnitus sounds like a hissing ...and it irritating...😢What should I do if I'm having tinnitus spike? I need advice please?
Meditation and relaxation practices have helped me tremendously in calming down during tinnitus spikes. Please know that a spike in tinnitus will not hurt you, and it does decrease in intensity once we stop focusing and panicking about it. If you’re able, cognitive behavioral therapy counseling can help with calming down and decreasing how much we notice tinnitus.
@@gary795I do meditating twice a day, but the spike that is too loud that I almost I cannot take it, I tried not to panic and be calm but I got emotional because I can not do anything to decrease the sound😭...I've been to the physical therapist for tinninus advice from ENT but looks like got worst so now I'm confuse ...in the morning I felt nausea and light headache...does it something to do with tinnitus?😭 How to CBT ?

Mine got worse immediately after having massage for vertigo behind the ear on that gland. Tinitus went from 2/10 to a 6/10. Sad day

Yeah literally idk if it’s legit tho…everyone that has tried it has said positive things but still.

Maskers work hommie. Get hearing aids and have a masker calibrated. Then run it 24 / 7 . Silk. We can mask it so its not as alarming
Una pura porrfavorr doctor se lo suplico🙏🙏😭😭
