The wife bought a ‘21 EXL AWD about 3 months ago and we are really liking the heck out of it. To early to tell but it might be the best car we’ve ever owned (43 years)? We’ve taken 2 trips in it so far, loaded up with room to spare, and it eats the miles very comfortably. The only negative is the stop/engine off feature which I turn off (EVERY TIME) but to be honest that’s not a big deal at all. We decided on the Passport over the Pilot because a 3rd row was a waste of space/money for us.
I have a 2008 acura mdx. I hate the new ones but my baby is dying of oil leaks due to a rusty undercarriage. This seems very similar to my mdx. Am I correct?
Helped my son get into a 2021 Passport EXL 4 days ago, Awesome vehicle for sure. Start Stop no thanks. Is there a way to permanently turn it off instead of every time you get into the vehicle?
The password I test drove felt a little bouncy side to side over dips and bumps in the road. I would not expect this from a firm suspension. Did you experience this ?
Hi John! What you described is not something I experienced but I have had some experiences with a surprisingly rough ride on a washboard road in the area so I know it can happen on some road surfaces.
I dislike the auto start-stop feature I really don't think its a significant gas saving's and I agree it could cause a big expense with the starter or even the battery
Auto stop/start is government caused. Manufacturers can use this to squeak 1 mpg into their city mileage. I will never ever buy a vehicle that this cannot be turned off!!!!! Well explained because some people have no idea about these and even when the vehicle will start under less stress than normal it will still shorten starter life and the starter will be very very expensive to replace not mentioning that it’s more likely to fail while you are in traffic. Ty overriding government!!
Thanks for the review. This is on my radar but one piece of info I cannot find is - What is the measurement of the back area with the seats down? Front to back and diagonal? wondering what is the longest board you could lay down diagonally? (I know I could also put passenger seat forward for some extra inches) Thanks! - anyone?
Auto start stop is terrible. On the Passport (and the Pilot and Ridgeline) install the Idlestopper, and never worry about it again. That’s what I did on my 2021 PP Touring AWD and I love it.
I would like to see a lot more chrome on the Passport. Chrome trim on the front grill, around the windows, door handles and polished aluminum alloy wheels. The Blacked Out look feels very cheap IMHO! The instrument panel should be programmable and more upscale.
Yeah, the car in front of you neglected to signal their right turn (and also turned into the incorrect lane while turning right), but they signaled their left turn. Maybe it’s because they could only afford the left-turn signal stick. So much for having all of the safety features. Ha ha.

Does the Passport have a 360 camera or a front view camera for parking? Nice job on the video!
Thank you, Adam I really appreciate you saying that. As of right now, there is no 360° view camera and no front view camera.
@@VehicleVisionary thank-you for the info!
@@adamnevis7636 You're welcome, Adam!

@@carycoller3140 I wish there were. The F Pace SVR I Was hoping to use in a video sold before I could get it. Hopefully, another will come along soon.

I'll measure mine tomorrow to see what this measures. Maybe I should just make a video on this?
@@E3EJvilla00 That would be awesome!

What is the Idlestopper?

I get an average of 22 mpg combined.

Yeah, very good for a motorhead-in-training, huh? Ha ha.
You are cute and explain things so well.
