Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. I’m so happy for you and your family to sell your house so fast. It truly was a nice house and I’m glad I was here long enough to see it. 😊❤ 1. I feel like any place in my house that is cluttered is because I like to put things that I don’t knew where to put it in a place that is out of sight out of mind. Also I like putting messes in the back of my mind and put it off for as long as I can. 😢 2. My breaking point is similar to others when I realize how bad an area really is. 😮 3. The room I reached my breaking point in was my bedroom because I was able to clean up the rest of my home more often than I was my bedroom. Also my bedroom was the place that I spent most of my time after I got off work. 4. I will create a plan for how I can tackle each room. I will put on a cleaning motivation video to be able to get started and get it done. 😊 5. How I can keep my house cleaned and organized is create a schedule on which room I should tackle each day. My mindset has to change where I will make myself clean my home to get it over with.

Hey Michelle!! Girl I totally feel you, our house just went on the market and we have our first showings this Friday! I have been stressed and cleaning nonstop and so much yard work! My husband is active duty military and we have to be at our new location on June 10th so the time crunch here is very real also! Good luck to us both lol!! 🩷

Yeah I'm a big procrastinator! My main floor has mostly been decluttered but my basement is horrific! I have good intentions but all I ever seem to do is a few minutes here and there. It seems as soon I get area cleaned up it gets filled back up again! Any motivation is always appreciated. Your home looks beautiful good job! I'm looking forward to seeing your new home.
You got extremely lucky with the lease back and I'm happy for you :) We sold our house and our new house construction won't be ready for about 3 weeks after. and will have to stay in temporary housing. We just ran into a major snag last minute with the sale, but hopefully it will get resolved this next week and this whole process is soooo stressful to say the least.
The questions really helped. I'm the "I gotta get to it" person and two of my bedrooms could easily be on Hoarders. No joke. I'm the person who was horrified at Hoarders and now have a little path in one bedroom to get to the closet. I'm ashamed and embarrassed. I'm also 69 and allowed this clutter to build up over many years. I had a shopping problem. Yarn, yarn, yarn. I LOVE it. And, it is everywhere. I don't have enough time left on earth to knit or crochet it all up but I struggle at letting my pretties go. It's insane. I don't have the energy I used to have. The Lord knows I kept a perfect, spotless house for so many decades and about 13 years ago I had major scoliosis surgery. The recovery took about 3 months. I stayed with my Mom and my husband did virtually no housework during that period. When I got home, I realized that the world did not fall apart because I wasn't cleaning constantly and while recovering, I just lost all interest in keeping and maintaining a perfect, organized home. I realized also that all those years of killing myself really didn't seem to matter to anyone else and once I quit dusting once a week or more my grown boys commented on how dusty it is and messy. I got more attention being a slob, lol. So, I intend to start in my guest bedroom and most of it has got to go that has been stored in there. I will be so much happier living simply again. I'm really praying about it and praying for strength to get through it all. Good video Michelle. Can't wait to see you in your new home. xoxTXDeb
Deb, no need to be ashamed! It’s never too late to start the process and we all go through seasons where we can’t prioritize it. I’ll pray for your strength and I will be here cheering you on!

Wow! What a wonderful improvement in your home. I don’t know if this happens to you, but the last time that I got my home ready for sale & I got ride of about 1/4 of all of my stuff, everything was so pretty & organized, that I fell in love with the house again. Actually, my last little home that we were going to sell, we kept as a rental. Yes, crazy, but after the difficult process of everything falling into place, it turned out to be a good decision. Best luck either way & with everything. Thanks for sharing.

Wow your home looks amazing, no wonder it sold so fast! Here in Wyoming it’s a sellers market at the moment and homes are outrageous with multiple bidders over the asking price. It’s so hard for my son and his wife to get a house! But I can’t WAIT to see your new home all done and how you decorate it 🥰

Do custom while there building but if you do you would not be able to move them or redo the room. But custom is easier while they are there it would look nice and be organized.
