    This has been a game changer for me - especially for emails which I used to flag and then forget about. Now it comes up at the right time and BANG! I’m in the email and responding!

    The linking function between Todoist and Evernote (and within Evernote) is something I’ve been using a lot this year. It’s brilliant to be able to move to exactly where you want to go in Evernote without having to search for notes.

    Hi Carl, I never made the jump from OneNote to Evernote! I now use OneNote on my MacBook, and I am pleased to say that that individual OneNotes can be linked in the same manner that you described here.

      You're right, Don. Both the web version and the app version of OneNote allows you to do this.

    Hi Carl, would love to see some insight on how to do this from windows with outlook. Anything you can point me toward? Or maybe a future video?

    • @Carl_Pullein
      @Carl_Pullein  ปีที่แล้ว

      I suspect that because of the Windows OS, that may not be possible; sadly, I do not have a Windows machine to test it out.

      @@Carl_Pullein How are you using Outlook on macos? I love the approach you showed with Mail, but dragging an email from Outlook to the Todoist app doesn't seem to work the same way. Are you using their Outlook add-on?

    • @Carl_Pullein
      @Carl_Pullein  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CraigMcCreath I don't use Outlook. I use Apple Mail. (I do occasionally demonstrate Outlook as many people use Outlook.

    I feel that this Will make me slower when checking emails also I think keeping emails as snooze is better for me than adding them in a task manner

    • @Carl_Pullein
      @Carl_Pullein  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, it's not really for "checking" emails; it's more for those emails that contain a task that needs to be performed. 99% of emails can be handled using the Action this Day folder.

    I don't have todoist anymore, but i do remember that you can edit task name (title of link) just by editing task. So i think it is something you can do with email soon after you drag it to Todoist.

      Todoist has made it simpler now.

    Hi Carl,
    Do you have a latest video on the Planning 2023 project you have on your todoist? And in the past you had a dashboard of aspirational stuff and such? Would love to have a reminder in how you handle and prioritize projects and what you work on (maybe on a quarterly basis)? thanks

    • @Carl_Pullein
      @Carl_Pullein  ปีที่แล้ว

      I did do a video on this late last year, you can see that here: th-cam.com/video/KWbRvMCxF8U/w-d-xo.html
      These days, I am trying to move away from "projects" and work through processes. Processes work better, they are more efficient and they can be broken down into different parts and refined.

    • @modestbukowski
      @modestbukowski ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Carl_Pullein Do you have any videos on this new approach about processes? I know you avoid project and block times for Communication, Project as labels instead and block off time in the calendar that mirrors your labels - but I assume processes is something different than this?

    • @Carl_Pullein
      @Carl_Pullein  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can get a link to an individual note (Note Link) and paste that into the notes sectioon of the calendar event.
